They sound great in theory, but horrible in practice. Human nature (greed, lust for power, etc.) overrides any extreme economic theory. But we digress...that's for a different thread.

Are you suggesting Mr. Rothbard is not qualified ?! What do you want, some government sanctioned economist that they put in 5th grader text books? Be rational, you're not going to find a "mainstream" person who goes against the "mainstream" grain.

And I don't quite understand your criticism of libertarianism. Name one libertarian country which is horrible in practice.......

Somalia?

Case in point. There are no libertarian countries. The closest you've gotten is anarchy.

I think they need to start figuring out what to do with the rest of his money... throwing away 10's of millions, between now and November, for the sake of being heard, might not be the brightest idea... especially for self-proclaimed fiscal conservatives! :D

Maybe he can use it to buy each of his supporters a shiny new gaming mouse, or something...?

In all seriousness, 11% is actually respectable, and we're all very proud of you. Congrats!

Go kill a brown person.

I guess this is what Paulbots call "supporting our troops"

Negative.

There is NO better way of supporting our troops than by bringing them home, now, to their friends and families where they belong.

This is why more active military give more donations to Paul than any other candidate.

Its a volunteer military. Their job is to fight for this country and they are doing a good job at it over there.

And lol @ your suggesting more donations go to Paul because he wants them out of Iraq.

Their job is to protect America.

They aren't doing that over there. They know it.

Sorry. Staying at home is NOT what ANYONE would expect joining the military. Home is where you are sent. If "staying home" is what they wanted they should've joined the boy scouts.

But I digress.

Right, there are none. So it is kind of premature to say it sounds good on but fails in practice when it has never been actually been seriously tried. Anarchism is close yes, but not close enough. I certainly don't want anarchism. That's why it is a separate field. Also, Anarchists don't have up to 20% favor by voting public in America as libertarianism does.

Sounds like you think we should start wars where there are none just to keep our military personnel entertained?

You're a broken record.

I believe you've posted that same talking point in each thread that mentions Ron Paul around here. Are you a paid operative?

Seriously BoberFett, where are you coming from? Why don't you just start assembling and shipping IEDs to the insurgents? You've damaged my view of Paul supporters.

The United States constitution tried to ensure that we were a Union of States, free and at liberty to rule ourselves within our state's dominion with the certain protections and benefits a Union can provide without it having dominion over us.

That was libertarian in my sense of it. That is what must be restored.

Gee, that's too bad. I was really hoping for Nebor's support.

Palehorse's condescending attitude toward anyone who doesn't agree with his "Kill em all and let Allah sort em out" view deserves no respect. Respect for the military in general doesn't mean kissing every individual soldiers ass. Having served myself, I fail to see how I could possibly be seen as disrespecting my fellow servicemen. The biggest disrespect they get are from those who casually throw away their lives for no good reason.

I dont see any anger by Ron Paul supporters. There does however seem to be alot of anger that Ron Paul has gotten as many votes as he has...

I for one am extremely happy with Ron Paul's success in Iowa.

Only for those eating crow, as my predictions came true.

Watching the idiot Pabster spam these forums endlessly, I find myself actually wishing we were back to just good old Dave McOwen.

Anyone who thinks we are in Iraq protecting Americans or our freedoms and liberties is just dumb. Iraq was never a threat to us, nor did they ever attack us.

Paul supporters want our troops to come home, as soon as logistically possible, and that is in FULL support of our troops.

If you want to keep them there, than I question your support. They signed up to defend OUR country, they didn't sign up to be shipped out to attack someone else's.

And yes, more active military give financial support to Paul than any other candidate. I'll repeat it as I feel necessary. The truth hurts, sorry, want a band-aid?

Ah, the irony

Coming from a bitter Paul spambot like yourself, I'll take the above as a compliment.

No spam here, just truth, news, and fact. All of which makes you more bitter. Continue on...

Yah, I see neocons angry that many Republicans are rejecting their war mongering in favor of a real conservative. They are scared their fascist ship is sinking.

It does not matter. Obama is going to be our next president! Way to go Iowa!
