BTW, people who think our caucus is time consuming? I voted in 15 minutes. Just throwing that out there (I was reminded by the Iowa wikipedia page!)

You voted in the GOP Caucus correct?

Well the GOP Caucus is more of a straw poll than a caucus. The Democratic caucus is the true caucus.

I wouldn't vote for Rudy for dogcatcher, but he didn't run a campaign in Iowa. The fact that he got any support at all is actually funny. I sure as hell wouldn't vote for someone who didn't come to my state.

So what's the witting saying going to be if Dr. Paul bombs out in NH as well?

It means that either way, if the Rep's win, or the Dem's win, we get to bitch on AT P&N for at least 4 more years.

There are a lot of people doubting Huckabee can do much, but hes leading in SC and a close second in Florida. If he wins SC, he will win Florida. If he wins Florida Super Tuesday will be good to him(alot of bible belt states).

Hillary needs to watch out, Iowa is marginally blue state, and over 60% were against her.

Yup, thank goodness. I can't imagine being stuck there for 2 hours! (I would have, but I didn't have to!) I thought about going to the democratic caucus and going for Obama, but I decided he didn't need my vote. Turns out I was right!

I don't doubt Huckabee. Evangelicals are a minority but their turnout is high. I'm actually scared to death of Huckabee. I knew tons of people that were going to vote Obama or McCain but now like Huckabee. Sigh.

I don't see huckabee's electability overall. In fact I don't see most of the republican candidates as electable.

Huckabee has pulled off the aww shucks routine. But while he does have some black marks on his record as Gov. of Arkansas, the good far out weighs the bad. He was considered one of the top Governors in the country throughout his decade in office.

I was really hoping that ron would better...but I guess not.

All that "The polls don't show his real support cause the callers aren't on the list" stuff...and in the end he is hitting his poll number dead on.

If Huckabee can mobilize the evangelicals nationwide, he could. But yeah I dont see any Republican candidate beating Obama or Hillary.

Zogby one of the most accurate pollsters releases hid poll yesterday, and it was

Huckabee 31
Romney 25
Thompson 11
McCain 10
Paul 10
Giuliani 6

He did fairly well at projecting the Iowa Caucus. Though he underestimated Thompson and McCain, but had the placing right. His NH poll comes out on the 6th.

What a momentous caucus.

A black man comes in to a 95% white state and not only defeats Billary resoundingly, he takes the woman vote too!

Huckabee was no surprise, though Romney fared worse than I expected. Those late attack ads really hurt him IMHO.

Oh, and Ron Paul was finally exposed for the nobody he is. See ya Doc

His supporters will split pretty evenly between Huck and McCain, if he drops out.

Woohoo! Looks like the bitch will finish third! The election for me is a success as long as she doesn't get the nomination. Anybody but Hillary.

I would vote Hillary over Huck, or Guiliani...and possibly Romney don't know enough about him though.
