AZ will probably get called today for Biden, hopefully they'll call Georgia instead of waiting for a recount as well (don't see why they would do one anyway, the difference is too large). The AZ lead will be quite small, but they won't recount anyway as the difference is too large (larger than 200 votes). AK and NC will go to Trump. Same number of of electors as Trump's "landslide" victory in 2016, but will probably end with 7-8 million more votes in the popular vote and more than 50% of the vote (probably thanks to lower 3rd party voting).

I don't really see any other option except Biden ending up in the WH. IIRC there was also some talk about faithless electors when Trump won, that's just insane and totally against the democratic system. It's also insane this time. Trump will continue whining and getting kicked out of court, the end result will be the same.

I should elaborate but everyone should know better by now. When I say Mitch McConnell I include the band of four. Mitch McConnell, Bill Barr, the US Supreme Court, and naturally Donald Trump. When I say read between the lines, that meant listening closely to every word out of Mitch McConnell’s mouth. When Mitch McConnell stated THE OUTCOME WILL DELIGHT TENS OF MILLIONS OF AMERICANS, AND DISAPPOINT TENS OF MILLIONS OF AMERICANS, this was his assurance that republicans will win and Democrats will lose. Mitch knows exactly the process to enable a Donald Trump presidency and that process will come from the United States Supreme Court. Mitch McConnell will be a major part of ensuring that process takes place as intended. If you read between the lines, Mitch just told the world that Joe Biden will lose and Donald Trump will win. Mitch has already finished the hard part by creating a Donald Trump US Supreme Court, now all that Mitch must do for his part would be making sure this Donald Trump court follows through with what it was created to do. Protect Donald Trump.
You appear to be the leftist version of right wing conspiracy theorists.

Let’s just jump to the quick here.... If we are to have a Joe Biden presidency the United States will need to split into two nations. A western Whitehouse will need to be established. A western Whitehouse located within California simply because California already has nearly all of the resources necessary to be its own nation. Military alliances with need to be established, an entirely new federal government will need to be established. As for the people of America, they will need to choose and pick. No matter where you live, people will choose their alliance. You might live in Iowa yet your alliance may be with Joe Biden and United States West. State will need to choose by ballot which alliance that state and their people choose to align with. From the ground up, a new and separate national will rise. Which states align with which side will be determined. We can still be America and Americans, but a divided United States. Some states west and some states east. After states choose their alliance, people could migrate into the state of their preferred alliance. People... we have passed the point of no return. Half of the people have chosen Joe Biden as their president, and half for Donald Trump. Actually, Joe Biden got more votes and more of the people, but whatever. Hold on America and here we go.....
Lol why East and West? The country is more of a doughnut. Well a mis-shapen one. But yeah the whole not my president. The right will somehow declare him as their orange monkey king

I'll just leave this here as some hilarious irony because folks like you are so incompetently dumb.

you're not particularly good at understanding context are you?

Trump - sitting president. has violated countless presidential norms. only claims election is valid if he wins. will not concede.

HRC - not president. not running for office. providing opinion. and if you take the context of that opinion, she's suggesting biden not concede because when it all plays at the end - you know, like counting mail-in ballots - she believes he'll win. surprise, he did!

This appears to be their endgame. Not sure each state's laws with respect to withholding their EC votes, but I believe they will try to grind the system to a halt and hope the GOP legislatures in the key states simply don't show up because enough "doubt" was cast on the results. The legal challenges are all for show and to garner enough sympathy from loyalists.

to further explain it:

Hillary advice: do not concede until all votes are counted
Trump: Refuse to concede after all votes are counted, and result is obvious and indisputable.

It appears that all loser Republicans are drinking the q-anon/conspiracy theory kool-aid. Culp needs to fuck right off and go back to playing Barny Fife. Of course he got his ass fired so he’ll have to find someone else stupid enough to pay him.

It’s not just Donald Trump that doesn’t like the election results:

Loeffler and Perdue are well aware that Donald Trump can, should he so choose, keep them from winning their January 5 run-off elections. All it would take would be a few tweets mocking them, and it would all be over. So they are doing their best to keep him happy - even if it means making completely evidence-free accusations against the Georgia election chief, member of their own party though he is.

A major part of the TrumpyWumpy plan is getting states to throw out legitimate Biden electors and seat Trump electors instead. So any and all allegations of “problems” are not just welcome - they are required. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Perdue and Loeffler were told explicitly by some Trump minion (perhaps even Barr) that this effort is expected of them.

I feel sorry for Georgians who will now have to put up with two months of a furious, non-stop, outsider - funded blitz of campaign ads, misinformation and just plain noise. You thought you’d survived election season? You ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Given that this isn’t just about Georgia’s representation in Congress, but for actual control of the Senate…yeah. Non-stop ads.

And complicating matters will be the aforesaid necessity to keep Baby Huey happy so that he doesn’t stomp all over everything and break it. In other words, the Repubs are forced to make their message ‘Donald Trump was robbed,’ no matter how little they may believe that’s the case.

Hey, the shit hasn't even hit the fan and look what's happening to America. Wait until Mother Nature has her say. You think this is chaos? You ain't seen nothin' yet.

The formation of Subtropical Storm Theta on Monday night pushed the 2020 Atlantic hurricane season into uncharted waters, with no other season in history having produced so many named storms.

Not just that.. most people just don't get it.

They are not going to just give over their power.. they want to get more of it at any means possible. If you don't think so.. look at them blocking Obama judges, then rushing along Trump ones to get courts to decide favorable outcomes to them.

Trump is not going anywhere. He is POTUS for life.. you all are living in a dream world if you think this election made any difference.

And this is the playbook

  1. Biden wins the popular vote, and carries the key swing states of Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania by decent but not overwhelming margins.
  2. Trump immediately declares that the voting was rigged, that there was mail-in ballot fraud and that the Chinese were behind a plan to provide fraudulent mail-in ballots and other "election hacking" throughout the four key swing states that gave Biden his victory.
  3. Having railed against the Chinese throughout the campaign, calling Biden "soft on China," Trump delivers his narrative claiming the Chinese have interfered in the U.S. election.
  4. Trump indicates this is a major national security issue, and he invokes emergency powers, directing the Justice Department to investigate the alleged activity in the swing states. The legal justification for the presidential powers he invokes has already been developed and issued by Barr.
  5. The investigation is intended to tick down the clock toward December 14, the deadline when each state's Electoral College electors must be appointed. This is the very issue that the Supreme Court harped on in Bush v. Gore in ruling that the election process had to be brought to a close, thus forbidding the further counting of Florida ballots.
  6. All four swing states have Republican control of both their upper and lower houses of their state legislatures. Those state legislatures refuse to allow any Electoral College slate to be certified until the "national security" investigation is complete.
  7. The Democrats will have begun a legal action to certify the results in those four states, and the appointment of the Biden slate of electors, arguing that Trump has manufactured a national security emergency in order to create the ensuing chaos.
  8. The issue goes up to the Supreme Court, which unlike the 2000 election does not decide the election in favor of the Republicans. However, it indicates again that the December 14 Electoral College deadline must be met; that the president's national security powers legally authorize him to investigate potential foreign country intrusion into the national election; and if no Electoral College slate can be certified by any state by December 14, the Electoral College must meet anyway and cast its votes.
  9. The Electoral College meets, and without the electors from those four states being represented, neither Biden nor Trump has sufficient votes to get an Electoral College majority.
  10. The election is thrown into the House of Representatives, pursuant to the Constitution. Under the relevant constitutional process, the vote in the House is by state delegation, where each delegation casts one vote, which is determined by the majority of the representatives in that state.
  11. Currently, there are 26 states that have a majority Republican House delegation. 23 states have a majority Democratic delegation. There is one state, Pennsylvania, that has an evenly split delegation. Even if the Democrats were to pick up seats in Pennsylvania and hold all their 2018 House gains, the Republicans would have a 26 to 24 delegation majority.
  12. This vote would enable Trump to retain the presidency.

I remember all those "Canusa and Jesusland" memes after Dubya's election. Though a google image search seems to emphasise there never was a clear consensus about where the borders would be. Could lead to trouble there! Your last war of secession was a rather bloody affair - don't want to risk a rerun.

Trump would be president of what, exactly, if this pans out? Do you think that the states in the west, NE or even midwest would stay in the union if such a thing happened? All this talk of technicalities is IMO just dumb.

The have family members living in a trailer on their property, Anyway, they have big Culp signs on the corner of their lot which is on the highest trafficked area in this semi rural part of the county. Someone sprayed LOSER on his signs.

Logic: Trump did not win, thus it must be rigged
Logic: Black voters commit fraud when they vote, everyone knows this.
