Read between the lines....
Mitch McConnell in no way will allow Joe Biden to become president, P E R I O D !!!!!
Mitch cheated Obama out of his supreme court justice, Mitch jammed thru Donald Trump's supreme court justice, and NOW..... Mitch McConnell truly believes and fully intends to block, deny, refuse, whatever you want to call it, but absolutely in no way will Mitch McConnell allow Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to become president and vice president. McConnell believes he has that power. McConnell believes his powers are indeed unlimited.
So after the failed court battles have come to an end, expect a new battle with the senate and McConnell against Joe Biden. As it will turn out, Donald Trump will not steal this election.... Mitch McConnell will.
How would he go about doing this, exactly?

Our King. I was just thinking about this yesterday. He thinks he's King.

Any ideas from anybody how to clear the editor, so if you don't post, the garbage from that post is now in your current post. Deleting it doesn't work, and deleting it and posting it, and getting the Oops! message won't clear it.

Mitch's statement is pretty good evidence that the party doesn't simply tolerate Trumpism, they embrace it wholeheartedly and unwaveringly.

They will do everything possible to make it grow bigger these next four years.
The next Republican President will be vastly more dangerous to this nation than the Cheeto n'Chief of Incompetence.
They will be a well oiled alt-reality machine very soon.

Mitch will not have any mechanism to stop Biden from assuming his rightly elected role as POTUS and the chance of any
court/Judge to just "throw out" hundreds of thousands of Pennsylvania votes, (who did nothing wrong) are next to none.
This would "disenfranchise" all those people from their voice at no fault of their own. Shit, even if PA got deducted Biden
still won GA, AZ, NV so he still wins.

The next couple months will tell us something. I just don't know either way. Feels like even money they could tear themselves apart trying to harness the power like it's an infinity stone.

I suspect this is less about actually trying to overturn the election and more about signaling to their base that they share their crazy conspiracy theories.

The dangerous part is that I think by doing this they are going to end up with a base that actually believes this election was stolen and will therefore demand the GOP start stealing elections. It’s a dark and dangerous road to go down.

Skinny:

Trump won in Men.
Trump won in whites 57-42. (Think about that everytime)
Trump won in the majority of electorate that existed from 2016.
The only place he lost is the first time voters.

Well if I knew it was there, and what it was for, I'd use it. Will have to edit something.
Amazing. See one of my biggest problems with the modern GUI is that I still haven't learned Iconesse. Which rapidly evolved to Cellphone Iconeese when you aren't even using a cellphone. Thanks Apple.

I am still unclear on how that strategy actually boosts turnout for Rs and seems pretty dependent on what Trump decides to do or not do. Election was a fraud so go vote doesn't exactly connect very easily.

They may be able to keep attention but will it translate into helping them in the runoff? I dunno.
Drive turnout by saying the only way to overcome clear Democratic fraud is with overwhelming votes

I mean assuming you basically maxed out with Trump on the ballot and came up short I don't know what the expectations for the runoff should be based on.

Why is it their fault? A lawyer is only as good as his case. They can't manufacture evidence of voting fraud which doesn't exist. But they can collect fees for filing suits which have no chance of prevailing. If someone wants to pay them to do that, they have no reason to refuse.
I would have thought that it would be an ethics violation to take money to file suits that have no actual legal grounds. Usually professional associations take that kind of thing seriously. On top of that its wasting court time to have to review and toss these kind of things out, I would think contempt of court charges could apply to cases with zero merit.

If you are on the pc, you have to delete it, and then save draft. (In the options right above the response box).

Edit: just saw the post about delete draft... I even learned something new today!

Wow, Fox cut of Mclaney or what ever, Trump's press Secretary claiming fraudulent votes. Hey, it's official, Fox is not on the Trump train anymore. This should be over soon.

Esper fired, Wray probably next. Barr now "on the case" after recently touring numerous police departments around the country.

Sadly, it looks like this is not over. Barr's involvement, at a minimum, is to probably cast doubt on any lower court decisions and make appeals to the SCOTUS that much easier. At worst, Barr's involvement is.... well, you can connect the dots. Remember, everything we've seen from them the past few years has been pure projection...so when you hear "fraud, they're stealing the election, etc" you know where it's coming from.

Van Jones said it best a few nights ago... Republicans, you got all your judges, you got the SCOTUS, you have the Senate, you did well in congressional races... don't burn the house down trying to overturn the will of the people.

I feel more concerned for the fate of our country tonight than I did at any other time the past 4 years. It's just not getting better.
