So far I haven't seen any legal challenge that has any sort of validity to come out to even make it up for the SCOTUS to decide on anything. Maybe the absentee ballot extension in Pennsylvania, but it's an irrelevant case to determining the outcome.

There is a lot of uncertainty on both sides about what the electorate who will turn out looks like for the runoff. Republicans think it favors them but then again they also expected to win the state handily.

Russia didn't particularly care about "Trump" per-se, they are interested in sowing internal dissent in the US to keep us focused on internal problems and keep out of Russia's business (particularly as they eat off chunks of their neighbors...) basically they just want chaos in the US, and whatever best serves chaos and noise in the US services Russia's national interest. Not limited to election cycle activities by any means, but I'm sure they are 100% supportive of Trump's current rampage to delegitimize voting and democracy. A drawn-out contested election is undoubtedly Russia's best-case scenario for this election cycle, albeit they would have preferred Trump on the winning side of a contested election.

Very low-cost effort in social media for impressive returns in chaos, while hacking efforts are more expensive and not much known return other than getting e-mail dirty laundry in 2016. The real hacking efforts from China and Russia instead focused on gathering industrial, military, and political intelligence, rather than impacting elections.

It seems that all the donations being made to Trump's 'Election Defense Fund' are actually going to pay off his campaign debt and to the RNC, and not to legal expenses to contest the election. So this appears to be yet another dangerous con that Trump is playing on the American people.

Oh, by the way, some asshole nobody in the Trump administration is refusing to sign the authorization for start of the transition. Facing reality is one of the biggest problems that this administration has. After all we turned the corner on COVID already.

McConnell believes he has that power. McConnell believes his powers are indeed unlimited.
So after the failed court battles have come to an end, expect a new battle with the senate and McConnell against Joe Biden. As it will turn out, Donald Trump will not steal this election.... Mitch McConnell will.

I am still unclear on how that strategy actually boosts turnout for Rs and seems pretty dependent on what Trump decides to do or not do. Election was a fraud so go vote doesn't exactly connect very easily.

They may be able to keep attention but will it translate into helping them in the runoff? I dunno.

So yea, no media certifies an election, but since forever when major media players, (AP/UPI, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, BLOOMBERG, MSNBC, CNN) have called an election every. single. POTUS. contender has, once a solid result is in and called by the press, called and conceded to their opposition and to wish good luck. Oh, wait, EXCEPT ONE.
