The thing is, the guy who founded it doesn't want it to be a site for right wing crazies at all and over the summer was begging for liberals to join to try to balance it out:

I could see this going the way of 8chan where it becomes so toxic that the founder just gives up on it.
I have a hard time buying this since they were banning liberals as quickly as they joined in the summer. My guess is they realized that without opposing views there's no money to be made in the echo chamber.

R. Giuliani is the ugliest person I can remember seeing. Saw him railing about the fraud he's going to be accusing the Democrats of tomorrow in various courts. He's a hideous human being. Eric Trump is a filthy liar and I doubt he will ever be anything more. He was standing right there with Rudy and acting for all the world like his shit stain of a father, and he should know better, but no, he's a chip off the old turd.

I said it before and I'll keep saying it.

Giuliani?

How anyone can believe anything that clown says is beyond me.
He is the political equivalent of an angry old man yelling at clouds to get off his lawn.

Oh, I'm sure some site owners are genuinely well-intentioned (not entirely sure about Parler), but as others have discovered, that's not how it works in practice. If you don't ban toxic-but-legal behavior, the toxic people invariably take over. It's the paradox of tolerance in a microcosm.

Parler is also the french verb "to speak"

In this case it would be "parlez-vous français?" 😉
("Vu" is the past tense of voir, which is "to see". Thus the phrase, "déjà vu" referring to something you think you have already seen

Is that what it means? Are we sure?

My translation was it was Russian for "an old mare's mattress stained by piss"

Ossoff is currently down by slightly less than 90k votes.
Doesn't matter unless Perdue gets over 50%. What will matter is the runoff results, which could be a very different outcome. Specially with the escapades of Trump refusing to concede, based on lies, and those lies are proven in court to be just that. It could cause a negative outcome for Perdue. Specially if so many Republican's stay silent about Trump's current path, and/or come out in support of it.

Lulz. This is how the Trump team's week of challenging the election results is going. Anyone still believe they are doing this because of merit and not to soothe the orange one's ego? Or are they really this fucking incompetent?

It can be both, I agree.

Yeah there is a big X factor in Trump's behavior prior to the runoff. If he keeps screaming that the vote is rigged in GA I'm unclear on how that helps Perdue or Loffler get over the line.

I think the best summary of the lawsuits is that they are a political strategy and not a legal strategy.

How is this political strategy supposed to change the outcome? So far as I can see, Trump's insistence on fraud here, of which the lawsuits are just one manifestation, is only going to succeed in agitating Trump's base and increasing the risk of violence. Trump is going to have to leave either way.

That's it. That's the strategy. Convince the cult he was robbed and not a loser. That's it.

Sure, and if he can convince them, it makes him feel better about himself. He can salvage some of his fragile ego even as he has to leave office. At the cost of potential violence, of course, but what does he care.

But it's not really a "strategy" of any sort. It's really just pathological behavior. There is a difference between the sick behavior of a diseased mind and a calculated strategy.

Evangelist nutjob Kenneth Copeland has gone absolutely pschyo - er... Looks like demonic possession....lol!

It's really scary. With the defeat of Donald Trump, we learn more and more about these crackpots as they expose themselves for what they really are. We find out just how bad this has become and the horrible effects of Donald Trump on groups such as this. Some might have perceived groups such as common normal everyday people, but this shows us how a cult operates. I guess it takes all kinds....

Well...
I have no doubt Trump thinks it's an excellent strategy.

According to NYT, Philadelphia county actually shifted red relative to 2016 (but probably was still more net+ Biden based on big turnout). Here's what their graphic looks like:

It was a bunch of other counties that shifted the other direction. Article is behind a paywall:

Something similar happened in Detroit.
While Biden still got 95% of the vote (5% for the cheeto) Hillary got 97% there in 2016 (3% for the cheeto)
That means that his orangeness improved around 40% in Detroit 😱
You are right, it was sheer amount of votes what kicked him out.

This is for the future. To delegitimize Biden.
