I think it's nice to get space for some of that... especially badges. Because back in the day, you never kept your badges with the ranking system around. They were specifically designed to bolster your honor (and rep), so you really didn't need much space for them as they left fairly soon after they came (unless you were doing concerted turn-ins, which were better). But now, we tend to stash 'em away in the bank and they just take up space. It especially get bad with the honor hold marks and all those other marks that you can get.
 
The one thing which I have yet to determine when it comes to WotLK is evidence of Blizzard's plan for gold to hold much value. I have heard rumors of things such as faction rewards requiring a lot more gold and are more valuable than TBC's rewards, but I want to see it for myself. Of course, it is pretty tough to evaluate inflation and the economy when you only have a handful of beta testers who have no interest in the AH.
 
I'm wondering what plans for bag slots/space are. We've now seen special non bag solutions coming for pets, mounts, BG tokens, and one other thing I can't remember...but nothing yet about new bag size. Depending on the person those may reduce some used space, but on many those will probably be just a minor aide.

no and this is the issue, the pugs that farm trash use a pseudo exploit of keeping 1 mob sheeped and running out and resetting the pulls to farm the same dudes over and over. because of this even with the horrid droprate they end up getting more to drop then people that can clear the entire instnace in 1 day.

its mainily blizzards fault for getting rid of essence of immortals quest that was going to give patterns as rewards. it still pisses me off when i see some random a mage in green with epic patterns from sunwell. we have been in since week 1 and seen less then 10 trash items drop

hell we go full cleares without seeing Gems, Sunmotes or even random greens

I wouldn't let it get to you so much. The trash drops are good, but most really are not that good in comparison to what you get if you are actually clearing the place. I am not the e-peen type when it comes to WoW, but I would think that should offer a lot of satisfaction.

I wouldn't let it get to you so much. The trash drops are good, but most really are not that good in comparison to what you get if you are actually clearing the place. I am not the e-peen type when it comes to WoW, but I would think that should offer a lot of satisfaction.

and if you happen to be a JC you get best in slot necks as well

Isn't that mostly because most of the trash is before Kalecgos and he dies on the first night?

Yeah, I saw someone selling the JC healing neck pattern for 9000g and it's damn nice ( not 9k gold nice 😛 ).

EDIT 2:

Looked at the DPS neck... not a huge fan of the whole no crit thing. I think ArP isn't good for me, but that's because I don't have a lot of it (read: any 😛). The caster one is nice though!

Ya, but isn't the increase for most of the trash drops in comparison to other T6 quality gear very minimal in comparison to the T5->T6 jump? I haven't done any real strict studying, but that is what I was led to believe.

when you do a full clear in 1 night it doesnt matter where the trash is

theres a bunch between Twins and Muru as well

That sounds more like an itemization issue than an attunement issue then. They should have swapped that with the Muru chest.

Yay more brut wipes last night. I think our first (and only kill so far) 4 weeks ago may have been a fluke. Then again, we had some of our best dps (including a warglaive) transfer off the server in the meantime. We've been heavily recruiting, but most of the time its scrubs which show up for hyjal/BT to get their welfare T6. Our guild is known on the server as "that guild that gears up people for the expansion".

I'll be so pissed if I don't get my kitty staff off twins before the expansion hits. GRRRRRRR

well on the bright side, our rival guild (and only other alliance guild in SWP) is STILL stuck on Mu'ru, even after the nerf. They've been on it for months, and haven't even gotten to phase 2 last I heard. And they are one of those pro old-school guilds that was killing kel'thuzad back in the day.

I got a good update for you guys. I made my first run through the 72-74 instance Azjol-Nerub located in Dragonblight and it is just awesome. That and I took pics. Enjoy!

Here is Hadronox which is boss #2 and one of Maexxna's children it would seem. This fight is really cool because you begin by pulling some of her trash and she gradually approaches you from the bottom of her web as you work fast to kill everything.

I can, but not until I get home because all other picture hosting sites are blocked for me. I am surprised that some work while others do not though since they are all hosted on imageshack. Tell me which ones do not work and I will try rehostng them to see if that makes a difference
 
well its not 1/2 its just 3,4 and 5

i dont know why work blocks random imageshack links, does not matter what the pic is but random ones do not work, same with photobucket
