Heh KJ is fun!!!! people actually have to pay attention instead of looking at bars and spamming 2 buttons the whole time, gotta love those kinda fights.

Pet's and mounts soon will no longer take up bag space:


We?re pleased to announce a convenient upgrade to the way that mounts and vanity pets are handled in Wrath of the Lich King.

Players will be able to ?learn? a mount or non-combat pet much like learning a spell, recipe, or new ability, and these creatures will then show up on a new Pet tab within the Character Info section of the interface. Players will be able to access and preview their learned mounts and vanity pets through this tab.

Once learned, the pet icon or mount icon will no longer appear in bag spaces or bank spaces. This inventory space will be made available once again for other adventuring needs. Pets can still be set to hotkeys by dragging them to the hotkey bar, much like any other spell or ability.

With decent resist and enough dps to ensure the fight is short (ie: 1 extra dps), it's easily done. The trick is having a shadow priest and enough dps that hes dead before you are oom spamming HL rank 11 non stop.

I solo healed Zuljin from phase 3 to phase 5 one night after a bear run. The other healer was a priest who got bumped outside the fence by a tornado early on in phase 3. When phase 4 hit we figured we could move next to the fence and still get PoM heals that don't need LoS if we got in range. But as luck would have it he was the very first target for claw rage and since he was out of LoS for heals and BoP, he pretty much got wtfpwnt. We ended up killing Zuljin, I think one other person died but that wasn't my fault. L2 stay out of fire and stuffs.

Did you have any sort of special circumstances? Like, did you go to Blizzcon? The WWI? Buy the WoW laptop? Etc.

All BlizzCon 07 attendees got their invites first. If it is going to be anything like TBC beta, then they will pass out invites in waves. I would expect the first wave of the Opt In selections to get their invites in about a week or two.

This is going to be a mega shot in the dark (Google has failed me), but does anyone know how to extract the models out of WoW and then convert the files into a readable formate for Maya? That's the animation program Blizzard uses, so I wouldn't think it would be overly difficult, but I can't find anything on it at all.

ive got a bitch. while doing BG ive run into a few players with multiple toons stacked together and linked with a macro so they all throw the same spell. i watched these guys totally own everybody and take out van with no problems. in my book its just plain cheating and totally unfair. what pissed me off more than anything is when the asshat parked his train of toons on the graveyard and waxed your ass just as you respawned. totally uncool. I bitched to a GM about it but from what other players were saying blizz wont do crap about it because the guy is paying for 5 accounts...

total bullshit in my opinion.

ahh yes multy boxing, its legal and yes its annoying, however it doesnt happen often

Model viewer is great for just looking at the model and playing the animations, but there's no sort of export feature to get a model file. At least not that I could tell.

Yes, it's considered legit because they're technically controlling every character as there's no logic enhancements. It's literally just a piece of software that mimics the key presses so when the person hits '1' on the keyboard, it sends the same command to the other computers.

Also, Beev, you may wanto try the MPQ viewer program, but you'll have to make sure to get the one that works with WoW. I'm not so sure you'll be able to get them to work with Maya though.
