Last night was cool, did Gruul's for the first time with the guild, downed him on 3 tries, barely. What's next after Gruul's is on farm?? Also, what's the timer for that instance?
Also i'm thinking maybe I should just go to protection and stay there. I was seriously out damaged by most other classes, though their gear was better i suppose. The other dps war had amazing gear too. That said, I suppose changing spec to give myself Imp Heroic Strike would help with raid damage...
My warrior
Well, I see a couple issues in your build and you mentioned one of them in your post. Here's what you should have:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LG0IzhbZVx0VxxRVuqo
- Heroic Strike serves as a rage dump for when you have more than 40 rage. You want Improved Heroic Strike.
- You also want Weapon Mastery as it serves a purpose similar to expertise (except it doesn't affect parry).
- You also want a point in Improved Whirlwind.
You also need to use axes. You're an orc, so whenever you use an axe, you gain +5 expertise for that hand. Also, don't forget to use your Blood Fury racial as it provides 282 attack power for 15 seconds. Just make sure you don't use it when you will need teh mad healz.
Also, check out some of your gems and enchants. You want +strength instead of +attack power. You also shouldn't be gemming +hit unless you're below 6% (or 9% if you do
not have the Precision talent). I'm also not a huge fan of the wrath card... especially since you have nearly 28% chance to crit. You'd do wonders if you had the card from the Blessings Deck (especially since it's flat AP and fury warriors  the AP).
So for slots to work on...
Helm: Get rid of +8 resilience and get +4 strength / +4 crit strike rating instead.
Neck: Not a bad piece, but keep your eyes open for and purpz. The SSO neck may actually be better for you because of the +AP proc (and since you have the exalted Aldor shoulder enchant, you will be able to proc it).
Shoulders: A green gem? Naughty naughty
😉.
Chest: If I remember correctly, one of those gem slots is red... I would have put +8 strength in that, not another crit/strength gem. Essentially, always gem flat strength, unless you really want the socket bonus, which even on that chest piece... I'd be tempted to ignore the +crit and just go with pure strength. I haven't really made up my mind on my warrior when I get the S2 version. Also, get +6 stats, not +health. +6 stats not only provides crit and AP, but also health.
Wrist: Not bad, but just keep your eyes out for something better. Don't be afraid to take leather!!
MH/OH: As mentioned above, focus on slow (2.6->2.8 speed) axes. Also, Mongoose is your friend once you get some good axes. I personally recommend just PVPing to get the Merciless Gladiator's Hacker as they're about equivalent to T5 gear. The weapon alone provides +16dps over your current MH.
Ranged: Just keep yer eyes open.
Hands: I'm not a huge fan of the PVP gloves. I'd recommend shooting for the T4 gloves or some leather gloves out of Kara. Also, go with +15 strength in this slot.
Waist: Not a bad piece, but keep your eyes open for upgrades. I'd recommend crafting the Red Belt of Battle if you have some extra mats (it's BoE) as it's not really that hard to make (4 hardened adamantite bars, 15 primal fire, 2 nether vortex).
Legs: Not a bad piece, just keep your eyes open for upgrades. Also, use the cobra leg patches instead of the clefthoof. Again, don't be afraid to hit up leather gear. You may be interested in the Skulker's Greaves from Karazhan and gemming them with 3x +8 strength.
Feet: Gemming +hit... naughty!
😛 Yet again, look out for leather gear from Kara and stuff.
Fingers: Doing more and more Kara will upgrade your Kara ring. Also try getting the ring off Prince.
Trinkets: Try getting something like Bloodlust's Brooch. During Brewfest, you will be able to get a trinket that is like BB off Coren Direbrew. Brewfest starts in the middle of September. Also, like I mentioned, you may be interested in the Crusade card (
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31856 ) rather than wrath. Wrath just doesn't do well for classes that have high amounts of crit.
