I didn't even notice that part... I had heard about a bug in the PS3 beta where assault got C4, but thought it was fixed. Apparently not. A little Googling reveals, if you pick assault with a shotgun as your primary weapon (and possibly others where a grenade launcher can't be attached), your grenade launcher is replaced with C4. I also hear they get more C4, up to six?
For some reason, I never play assault...

red dot f2000 is amazing......its good with irons too

For some reason I cant play with any red dot in this game. Makes my shooting horrible. I use iron sight xm8 on assault.

Is it me or do the engineer guns feel much stronger than the assaults. I kill people with 1-2 bursts with them while the assault is like half a clip.

I'll confirm shotty+c4 for assault. I just don't remember how many I had.

For some reason I cant play with any red dot in this game. Makes my shooting horrible. I use iron sight xm8 on assault.

Is it me or do the engineer guns feel much stronger than the assaults. I kill people with 1-2 bursts with them while the assault is like half a clip.

The assault guns have a lot more kick I think, but I kill people faster with the assault guns still, especially the F2000.

they need to tweak a few things.......

more health for the objectives

less points for everything except doing mcom stuff the right way, if they expect people to play it the right way.

nothng more annoying than the BDMA up on the hill where no one can hit it, chucking grenades onto the objectives till the blow up

One time I was using the Saiga and a guy I shot flew backward 6 feet out a door! Only saw it happen once, though...

Same game, I'm sitting below a plateau waiting for the enemy to pop their heads over the edge on their way to crate B, I had killed a couple right there. But then I hear all kinds of firing going on but they won't come down. I go around the side and go up there from the side to find myself looking at three guys standing there right in front of me, firing on the building with the crate in it. They are all looking to the left at 90 degrees and none of them see me! In a flurry I fire all 6 shots from the Saiga in to guy number one, moving forward I switch to pistol and shoot guy number two who was behind number one, amazed that they were still totally oblivious to me! After that, at my leisure I walk up to guy #3 and stab him in the back.

My best battlefield moment of the beta, so far...

Another example of 60 FOV killing the game. You can't even see in the corner when you walk into a door. Hide in a corner and you can rape away.

You should try the extending mags on the shotguns. 12 shots for saiga =)

My memorable moment was when this was a final push my the attack team on B on the site with the Apache. About 10 guys were running to the site to try to plant the bomb and charging at my teammates pretty much killing them all. I come in and attack their side, and since they were all focused with what was going on in front of them they didnt see me. Unloaded 2-3 grenade launchers, threw my frags, shot my entire rifle and pistol clips, knifed two, picked up a medic kit, and started spraying m249. Killed all 10, and we won the defend.

Downloaded and installed and it's different. Have to get used to sniping without proning. The sound effects are fairly good. Graphics are ok. Running everything max, 4xAA. Might throw on 8xAA and see how it runs cus there's so many damn jaggies everywhere.

I have to say, the audio and graphics are both extremely good in my opinion. Some of the audio levels are a bit off but in general it's very, very good, maybe even the best I've seen. I'd give the game a 9.5/10 for graphics and 9/10 for audio (which could easily be a 10/10 if they fix a few level issues). The graphics are also due to improve at release because apparently we don't have access to the top quality textures in the beta.

its cuz engineer guns have less recoil making it more accurate and pretty deadly in close quarter combat situations. it was like that for 2142 and engineer SMGs.

wow i'm shocked godless has something positive to say. especially for a game i didn't find particularly too impressive. and i'm a huge BF fan. maybe my expectations were too high.

That might explain the apparent lack of performance changes going from medium to high settings. :hmm:
