Guy who gets in his car, wastes gas, and drives to Costco for $1.50 garbage hot dogs because cooking is too hard complains about 1500 healthy calories for $3.00. Okay.

Yes but try and find a human being who isn't eccentric on his guilty pleasure!

Thankfully mine is video games!

/complains about every video game being $60 and more now.. :p

Johansen was great. That was hilarious. Also saw this joke on the Oscars

"Emma Stone played an adult woman with the brain of a baby... like the woman who gave the State of the Union rebuttal Thursday night."

you ridiculous morons should stop eating each other and focus on the real enemy.

The real enemy is Trump but the other real enemy preventing us from getting Biden to win are out of touch Democrats like yourself with absolutely horrible messaging and overall in-denial takes on how to get voters turned on to Joe Biden.

You just have a tone deafness to you about what it takes to motivate disillusioned and checked out voters especially to get them to 100% go vote for a guy who has so many negatives to the public right now, In Joe Biden. You're dismissive of all of them.

You simply deny those perceptions and say things like this is the best economy ever and Joe Biden is the best president of my lifetime. These people don't want to hear this nonsense. This is not how people who are struggling feel right now. This is not how people who are turned off by Joe Biden are going to be inspired. You're just going to push all these people to not vote for Joe Biden. Most likely not to vote at all really. Because I don't think they'll go Trump at all. But they just won't show up.

It's pretty simple right now the biggest enemy to getting Joe Biden elected is bad campaigning strategies and bad messaging.

Very tired of hearing liberals tell the left they should unite under them. Voting for the same guy you do in the general thanks to our shitty two party system effectively enshrined in the US constitution is about as far as I'll go. Not that that vote means shit anyways thanks to our ridiculous constitution and the electoral college but I'll still stubbornly cast it as a fuck you to Abbott and the Texas GOP.

Biden's incredibly vulnerable with inflation, especially with regard to housing. And Michigan is lost thanks to siding with Netenyahu in his genocide in Gaza. Good luck turning out Muslim voters after that shit. Gotta hope Trump does something stupid to throw the election like Romney did in 2012 by running on Ryan's wet dream of killing Medicare for anyone under 55 while we still all got to pay into the system to pay for the benefits for the old motherfuckers whose votes slanted heavily GOP.

Dude we have over 200 days left I wouldn't write off any swing state right now. That's why it's so important to get the messaging correct right now in fact. There's a lot of time to go before the election folks.

Bringing non-economic topics into a discussion about economic disparity is pretty disingenuous. Do you really want to weigh the loss of life to COVID and egg prices against the war in Ukraine and now the whole Israel 'thing'?
Covid was much worse than either of those and Biden's response to Ukraine was 1000% better than Trump's to Covid. Biden's response to Israel is no worse than any previous president's would've been.

Great. Go ahead and vote in ways that will result in the ruination of everyone you claim to support.

Not nice. Liberals are only better than conservatives at suppressing fear and permitting reason to take the lead in decision making. We are not perfect and we have all suffered damage. Otherwise you have to change what the definition of a moron is. These folk are not suffering from low IQs.

Fuck I hope I'm not giving the impression I would vote Trump. Two things I hope to have to have never done by the time I die: (1) buy a lottery ticket (2) vote for a Republican.

Way too many people believe that "Democrat" means liberal. I started voting in 1972. Democrat all the way. Yes, I've had to cast my vote for some horrible candidates...because I was voting AGAINST their opponent...but always Democrat. (well...except for 2008...I didn't trust Obama, so I voted for some 3rd party schlub...and Obama turned out OK, so I voted for him in 2012 against Mitt the Mormon) I am almost anything BUT liberal. Yes, I believe in either single-payer healthcare (or Medicare for all) I think it's an abomination that in a rich country like ours, people either go bankrupt over medical bills...or have to choose between paying health insurance premiums and eating...I'm a strong union supporter. Not saying every job needs a union...but if those workers vote to have a union...then they should be able to have one. I also support a woman's right to abortion...no man should be able to tell a woman, "No abortion for you!"
The list goes on and on of things where I differ from the liberal side of the Democratic party...but I do not...will not vote for ANY candidate with (R) associated with their name.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree. Constant threat of nuclear war, overt menacing of us and our allies from a terrorist authoritarian government with millions unwilling to stand up for themselves, and 2 years of economic upheaval is a lot more disruptive to us than the horrible losses from COVID, masking up and not going out as much.

Sadly it's a liberal party right now when it comes to the people in power. Really hope it swings social democrat as the Clinton wing dies off, at least that would make it centrist with respect to the people. The Willie Horton ad caused the party to swing so far right after the 88 election and it has been stuck there since.

Interesting. Thinking about it I can't remember the sun feeling any different on my skin. Right now the sun is down but my stew is delicious.

Katie asked the question are you better off then 4 years ago. She did not say economically so It opens up the conversation to all concerns in the country. How we dealt with pandemic is on the list of concerns same as inflation. If Biden can be blamed for the price of eggs surly Trump and his handling of Covid is part of the discussion.

There is no more threat of nuclear war with Russian than there has been in the last 30 years. The economic upheavel from COVID was also 1000x the economic upheaval from Ukraine.

The truth is, Russia/Ukraine has had almost no direct impact on Americans except for elevated gas prices for a few month. COVID fucked up the education of every kid between 4-18 and every college student. Air Travel dropped to around 1% IIRC during COVID, it didn't drop at all for Russian or Israel, except for the handful of cancelled routes.

You are absolutely delusional if you think Ukraine and Israel have had more impact on Americans than COVID.

Is katie the one who was doing the rebuttal? Sorry, most of this thread has been regarding economic stuff so I wasn't mentally there for a 'is the world a shitshow compared to Trump' discussion.
