I'd like to be cryogenically frozen for a couple of years, so that I can play it right now.
EDIT: Has anybody on here read all the details about this game? Read about the ships and everything? This has got to be the most ambitious project I have ever seen... ever.. ever... ever. I can't imagine this being done within 3 years... maybe 4-6. Just look at this... Coming up on 'flight chairs', track ir, multi function displays.... I'm not sure what it all means but I feel like it's actually going to need NASA's budget.

It means they're going to support more advanced hardware if they hit 4.5 Sounds flashy, but said hardware already has drivers.
The condensed translation: We're going to make the game recognize drivers for advanced hardware if you pay us another 500k to do it.
It's a serious effort, but not as huge as it may sound. "Flight chairs" are just chairs with joysticks on the arms and rudder pedals. "Track IR" is essentially a Wii-mote you wear on your head, such that the motion of your head is tracked (you turn your head left, the virtual you in the cockpit looks left). "Multi-function-displays" are the small sub-displays on the more hardcore joysticks and hardware.
This hardware is essentially used by an extreme hardcore segment of simulator fans (not exactly a huge market) so screw icing, it's the little plastic figurine on top of the icing on the cake.
