derp. M50. tried from p-72 and 315p. I'm guessing it's because the ship itself isn't currently for sale either.
Dude. I love the M50. As of right now, it's the only ship that actually behaves even remotely close to the glory of patch 1.3. It's the only ship that you can get in and orbit on opponent who tries to out-turn you.
I'll never melt this ship....it's been through ups and downs, but it remains the most agile ship in the game. Even with minimal front-facing firepower (a pair of solid mount S2s), you can still do well because of the agility.
If you get in line-of-sight of a SH, you'll explode within seconds, but if you stay out of the fire and keep the guns on target, its the most satisfying kills you'll ever get.
The Gladius SHOULD be this good, and it WAS, but it's bugged in 2.0+. It has always been bugged in some way, but it's my favorite dogfighter in the game. It had ridiculous strafe power in 1.2 and was just about right in 1.3, but now it's like a drunk figure skater. When they get it back to point, I'll get back into the cockpit, because apart from the M50 it's THE ship for the folks who like to fight with agility and speed.
I'm keeping my 315p and 350R around though, because they're do for a rework. The 350R is just completely badass, but it's ALWAYS had this stupid boost strafe bug that makes it unusable in BR. If it wasn't for that, you would see a ton of of top pilots flying it. Once they get the handling figured out on the 350, I'm going to spend some serious time in it to see how well it does. It's just wicked fast, and the 300X series aims with a joystick better than every other ship except the Hornets.
