Let us all gather together during this holiday season and push back against tyranny.

What?! Next liberals will be upset over things like Movember and old Christmas songs.

Oh...

I do think we ought to be more thoughtful about what we say (i.e. don't knowingly step on a vegan's toes), but at the same time... PETA, no. People aren't going to adopt your silly alternate phrases; some of those expressions are fine, and those that aren't particularly sensitive can be replaced with others that don't sound ridiculous.

If God didn't intend for us to eat pigs he wouldn't have made them so delicious. Muslims are missing out, big time.

A good cheeseburger with bacon. Turkey avocado cheese and bacon sandwich. Breakfast burrito with extra bacon.

I'm atheist, but, if there was an indication for a god, bacon is a great starting point.

Why shouldn't the vegans expect this? Some places have had to accept gender-neutral pronouns as to not hurt precious feelings. This is just more of the same.

If I brought home bagels instead of bacon, my wife would leave me.

You are correct. We do not want to hurt bacon's feelings.

They shouldn't expect changes of phrase, but at the same time, those of us who are non-vegans can still try to be considerate. Some of us don't want to be uncaring assholes. It's a radical concept for you, I know.

It honestly depends on the group that I'm being inconsiderate to. For example, you would have no qualms being inconsiderate to someone like slow because of his views, but, you would care about the a person at a funeral.

The question is where to vegans fall. The average vegan I know are not bad, but, I have met many annoying assholes that try and insult you for not being vegan.

Someone that argues that I should not eat veal I can respect. Someone that says all meat is murder I think I will have trouble with.

Accomodation is how it starts, and then next thing you know, someone is trying to get you fired for posting a picture on social media holding a bacon double cheeseburger and gloating over the gluttony of getting it with extra bacon.

Veganism is a choice, unlike, for example, race or sexual preference. Not really on board with the notion than one can make a choice about one's eating habits, then expect others to display special sensitivity in how they phrase things.

It must be exhausting for you every time you have to (goose) step out of your bunker. The mere effort of trying to be civil and accommodating to people different than you must leave you famished and wanting another big bite of your BLT . . . Bozo's Lying and Treason.

But take heart, there's a place where your craven addiction to Hair Furor's BLT is addressed with endless rounds of badminton and Bing Crosby singing "I'm Dreaming of a WHITE Christmas."

It's called the Mayo Clinic!*

That said, I think we can all agree that Canadian Bacon is a Pinko Canuck travesty foisted on us by our socialist neighbors to the north!
