This is a really tough one, need more info. Obviously she is under the age of consent in LA and if they are having sex there is a big problem.
But if they are just dating and no sex it's nobody elses business, but they will have a tough time.

My wife and I started dating when I was 23 and she 17, but we didn't do the wild thing for well over a year. All our friends and family thought it was wrong and tried everything in the book to break us up. Now we are 48 and 42 and have been happily married for a long time, and most all of our friends who thought it was so wrong are on thier 3rd or 4th marriage.
