That was the latest one, which was posted on Dec.30.2002

Btw, my GF went to a trip in foreign country, so she won't be able to watch this movie with this guy this time.

A couple of questions to help get a handle on this situation:

How old are the both of you?
How long have you been together?
How would you characterize your relationship together up to this point?
Have you had trust issues with her in the past?
Is there any reason why she would leave you for this other guy?
Does she appear to be honest and sincere to you when she talks about this guy, or do you feel when talking with her that she's still hiding something?
Is she being deliberately evasive?

I get the feeling we don't know the whole story here, but while you do have trust issues, I also have the gut feeling those trust issues are based on something real.

does she know u hacked into her email? if she doesn't... u better not ever tell her.

anyway... i guess the most civil way to approach this is just ask her. honesty is the best policy... kinda contradicts the first sentence eh? hahaha :p

1. Approx 25
2. Approx 3 yrs now.
3. So far so good. She loves as far as I can tell. And I love her too.
4. No
5. No idea. I don't know that guy very well.
6. I don't think so. At least I always feel that she's always hiding something.
7. Yeah.

Analysis: He got her email address (or she gave it to him, either way). He first emailed to see if that is her correct email address. Seems like they have already talked about going out and she was expecting him to ask her. Maybe he mentioned a movie, and she said that she would like to see it cuz you probably don't like those kinds of movies.

Have you talked to her about how you feel? I mean, if I felt a girl of mine was "always hiding something" then I would talk to her about it. It's not healthy to go around for three years feeling that the girl you're in love with might be "hiding something." Three years is a serious comittment. I'd find out if she was indeed hiding something... and I wouldn't find out by reading her private mail and going through her phone numbers. Ask her. It's the simplest, easiest, most direct route.

She's hiding things. In her email account, I also found that she had emails between her and her ex regularly. I asked once (she's was checking her email with me, and I happen to saw the name there), but she just gave me a quick excuse saying it was an old friend of her, and I didn't want to make her feel bad, so I stop asking more detail.

Ok I must confess. 5 semesters ago, I also tried something fishy like this. THe girl was in my class, and I even knew she had a boyfriend. But I still asked her to go to the movies. She said "Maybe later". At the same time, I told this to a guy at work. That guy told me to back off from her. I asked why? He said cuz I don't know what kind of a guy I am dealing with. What if he is a psychopath who will come and beat the crap out of you. He then showed me this scar on his arm, which he got in a bar fight, because he just said hi to a girl, and her boyfriend messed him up. I was so scared, that I quit talking to that girl.

Well, I found a strenge phone number on my gf's cell phone, so I called. I heard a guy voice and it sound like a classmate in our class (we're all in the same class btw). He's very obvious trying to date my gf because he's always trying to talk to her when I'm away. Anyhow, since I found out the suspicious phone number and confirmed it was him, I hacked into my gf's email account and found out that he is asking my gf out to movie. At this point, what should I do? Any advise? Btw, don't tell me to dump her, it's not an option :p

Edit1: Well, the reason I checked her phone history is that I got suspicious about what's going on between him and her, and I was right about it.

Edit2: It's not that I don't trust her in the beginning, but she never said a word about him. You know, we're all in the same classroom, and I also let her know that I knew this guy is trying to date her. I told her about that few month back. Now this is happenning, he's starting to ask her out.
By the way, I didn't steal her phone and look for the number. It was a Free2Go phone, and I was recharging minutes for her.

Edit3: Btw, she did not put this guys number in her cell phone phonebook. I just happen to hit (up) button and saw it in the dialed history by accident. And since it is the number I don't recognize, I start to be suspicious about it. That's why I called.

Edit4: Com'n you people. If you saw someone is hitting your GF/BF every time you turn your back to them, what would you do? Do you just pretend nothing happened? Give me a break!

It is wrong of you to go though your girl friend private things with out her consent.

There is a saying that you can look at the menu, but you have to eat at home.

It is best that you let her figure what who is the better catch for herself. You might want to be a bit more galant and show her that you are very much in love with her by doing things that give her no reason for even thinking about other men.

Jealousy doesn?t get you anywhere. The best thing that I have found is to reassure your girlfriend by actions that show her that she is the love of your life (women love to be pamper & surprise).

I bet she can feel it from me. I'm 100% too nice to her, at least it is what everyone says :)
