He answered it exactly the way he should answer it. Stupid question. I don't care what he personally believes in or doesn't believe in. As long as he doesn't try to push some religious crap as "science" in schools, I'm good.

Naaww! Walker is now for taking the previous cap off Tax payer money(vouchers) that were being taken from Public Schools and given to religious schools. That was his idea too.

What he is against is the same standard of education getting applied to his pet charter/religious schools. No tests for the pets!

So the jobs go to IL, we don't get the money, and the current casino in Milwaukee still loses patrons to the casino if it is built in Waukegan. He's a real asshole.

In Scott's defense, he is gearing up for a Presidential run and I am quite sure that the check the Potawotami will be sending to his campaign is quite hefty.

Though with Obama, we'd have to change that quote to "politicians who know things after they read them in the paper", since he doesn't even know what the executive branch is doing until he reads it in the paper. Even when his staff is formally briefed as with the IRS malfeasance, Obama remains personally ignorant until he reads it in the paper or sees it on the news.

Isn't this exactly what we bash the left for, restricting individual liberty for our citizens' own good? Seems to me that if one earns one's money and wants to put it all on red, that should be allowed in a free society. (I'm not a gambler personally, but I am a fan of individual liberty.)

But politicians routinely ARE involved in things that involve that question. Again, while I'm fine with whatever they think so long as they don't involve themselves in scientific questions, asking whether or not someone accepts the overwhelming conclusions of science isn't 'nonsense'.

Isn't this exactly what we bash the left for, restricting individual liberty for our citizens' own good? Seems to me that if one earns one's money and wants to put it all on red, that should be allowed in a free society. (I'm not a gambler personally, but I am a fan of individual liberty.)

I draw the line at those things which severely hurts society and this is one of them imo. If I "put it all on red" and lose, are you OK with me stealing from you or others to augment my gambling habit...are you OK with your paying for my food stamps and other public assistance because I'm now bankrupt. I'm all for personal responsibility, but I also know that casinos hurt far more people than they help. Those with gambling problems adversely affect many more people than themselves with their bad decisions.

While I think not accepting evolution is crazy, I don't really care what politicians say about it so long as they aren't trying to undermine the teaching of evolution in the classroom.

But yes, he's probably pandering for the primary.

As a Californian born and raised, I find it unfortunate that a major party is littered with the idea of opposing evolution. I have trouble understanding or relating to their mindset. From that I have trouble respecting them.
