Holding out for the CF291 myself. 1080p on the 27" is pretty disappointing.

A 1ms VA monitor? I hope the real world performance is at least on par with IPS.

I hope TFT Central tests it so we can see how much ghosting this panel has in real testing. "1ms" smells like the usual fake marketing numbers

Yes but generally when we are talking about the same panel type then the lower the better. Like a 4ms VA is almost always better than an 8ms VA. A 4ms IPS is almost always better than 8ms. So keeping that in mind I am optimistic. I am personally not too fussed over response times so if VA reaches current mid range IPS level it would be all I need.
