Russian rhetoric is increasingly unhinged and nuclear.
A nation acting like North Korea is a bit different in the midst of an active war. All the while they increasingly say it is a war against us, and they begin to speak of nuclear weapons daily. Our Intel community has to reach some point where the only conclusion is that Russia will launch and we have to beat them to it. Or do something dramatic to intercede.
Note, Russia on Tuesday vowed to take all of Ukraine under the veil of a nuclear threat. All we can do is call their bluff... but at what point does our military consider this rabid dog too dangerous to ignore?
Russia on Tuesday once again escalated the threat of nuclear warfare amid its illegal campaign in Ukraine by alleging that with the support of the U.S. Kyiv is developing nuclear weapons.
"The need for demilitarization is due to the fact that Ukraine, saturated with weapons, poses a threat to Russia, including from the point of view of the development and use of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons," Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, said according to state-owned news agencies.
