I guess that happens when you LET them steal our tech and build their own systems.

The Israel replacement for Patriot, David's sling was developed with the assistance of Raytheon. Raytheon then incorporated what they learned from developing David's sling into future versions of the Patriot system what could be called a PAC-4 version. The current latest version of Patriot is called PAC-3. So yeah, the US let Israel steal our Patriot technology so they could co-develop a better version with Israel that is now available to the US and it's allies.

Yep. I'd start sinking suspicious ships in the Baltic ASAFP.
It is not enough to sink them after the fact.
Any ship to and from Russia must be prevented from entering the Baltic.

Their repeated, incessant, attacks on NATO infrastructure makes this a necessary move.

I never said "after".

I'd put up a naval blockade of Kaliningrad.

Bottom line is that they have something now they would have had.

Meanwhile in Europe.... they continue to discover the ways in which they are already at war.

NATO: There was officially a Russian plot to kill European weapons chief
A senior NATO official has confirmed that there was a Russian scheme to kill Armin Papperger, the head of German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall.
The plot, which was foiled by United States and German intelligence, was part of a series of Russian plans to assassinate defense industry executives across Europe, according to NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary-General

Sweden to supply Ukraine with its largest aid package yet.

STOCKHOLM, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Sweden's defence minister said on Thursday the Nordic country had agreed to donate its biggest aid package to Ukraine so far, worth 13.5 billion Swedish crowns ($1.23 billion).
The aid package is Sweden's 18th since Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
The government is now negotiating with suppliers in Sweden and Europe to supply prioritised equipment such as artillery and drones, Defence Minister Pal Jonson told a press conference.

The irony here is that the tractor is now on the other foot. Early in the war the Ukrainians were using tractors to tow abandoned and captured Russian tanks, APC's etc. back to their lines and now, having suffered ridiculous losses in both men and materiel after three years of being decimated by the AFU, the Russians are hard pressed to use tractors to do the same thing with their own troops.

You know, maybe conservatives were right - let's give that Ukraine support to Americans. I think many might be perfectly fine taking payment in the form of APCs and howitzers right about now.
Well.. those "conservatives" will move that money to Russia since Putin is their leader.
