That's probably the 4th or 5th effective anti-mine solution I've seen the Ukrainians come up with too. Didn't some teenager there develop a way to detect them with drones? I think he tweaked an IR camera enough to detect heat differences between the mine and surrounding dirt, though it might only be viable in the mornings before things heat up again. I know the Dutch sent them some really cool cutting edge anti mine drones. Think those ones use a ground penetrating radar to detect and map them, I could be wrong though.
EOD teams have always been heroes in my book. Absolute badasses. They do their jobs knowing full well every five thousand or so disarms statistically means 2 people getting wounded and one getting killed.
May they have every tool they could possibly want.
