Lot smaller than the show's bar. The only edible food you can consume that old would probably be any hard candy that was sealed and intact, sugar intact or even hard liquor that hasn't evaporated. When my then wife and I moved to Georgia the state prior to moving into our home we bought we rented a small place out in the interim until we got things set up over there as we'd prefer. One day at the small rental I inadvertently opened up package of sugar to sweeten my tea one day during the week we were unboxing out of some cabinet. I had not paid much attention to the packaging and thought she'd put it there temporarily. As I was drinking the tea I noticed the packaging was very dated looking. It was domino brand or c n h and realised something wasn't quite right. I knew what those bags looked like at the store because I bought them so damn much as she liked baking and had a sweet tooth. After rummaging around the exterior I noticed it'd been packaged sometime in the early 1980s. It had gone unnoticed and undamaged. It tasted fine but I threw it away just in case.6:50
We're getting too far off topic here, but GIs got chocolate bars in their rations:
Military chocolate (United States) - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Military_chocolate_(United_States)
The World War II K ration issued in temperate climates sometimes included a bar of Hershey's commercial-formula sweet chocolate. But instead of being the typical flat thin bar, the K ration chocolate was a thick rectangular bar that was square at each end. (In tropical regions, the K ration used Hershey's Tropical Bar formula.)
My guess is he ran out of fuel or engine flamed out and couldn't restart given the glide he was on. I can't make out any landing gear. I don't know how well military jets can turn and glide because I presume they're not as graceful as a prop plane.![]()
Russian warplane's crash into apartment block kills 14 people
Three of the victims died when they jumped from the upper floors of the building in a desperate attempt to escape the flames, according to the vice governor of the region, Anna Menkova.www.euronews.com
Russkie Kamikaze's into Russkie Buildings??
That is what I expected the rationed chocolate to be the first time I saw it in the bob series in 01. A modified recipe with a soft fat that tastes like chocolate but isn't chocolate. The US was in a better position than mainland europe or the uk then for getting food stuffs but as I understand the American then still had to ration at home to make sure there was enough to go around for the troops. I'm very unaware of what American like was like in the 1940s and I know the world was not as it is now as it was then, obviously, but still very interesting. Some of the chocolate bars in the C rats that I ate was like eating a bar of paraffin wax. Others had the distinct aroma of carnuba found in automotive paint wax. Crackers had pretty good texture but tasted like the cardboard box the C rats came in and needed lots of water to wash it down. The p38 can openers were the bomb that you hung on your dogtag chain. Beef stew, chicken ala king, spaghetti w/meatballs, peaches and cigs were currency in a can.
Edit - circa mid-60's to early 70's.
That field one was a hydraulics failure. A victim of sanctions and lack of maintenance. Really stupid for them to be flying tbh.I've seen several reports of Russian planes of all sizes falling out of the sky including one passenger plane that had to land somewhere remote.
But I don't know if any of them are related, or maybe just victims of sanctions and can't get proper maintenance.
If KIm supplies 100k mobiks, then I'm sure Poland would be keen in supplying 100k fully geared 'mobiks' as well. Just to 'balance' things out....I just don't see Kim supplying NK mobiks, but weirder things have come out of the Hermit Kingdom, so, ummm, who knows?
Nope, NK has shed ton of Arty/shells, etc. It would be more like the US asking SK for help, though I imagine that SK's equipment is better maintained. This whole Putin Un the Ritz thing seems like the US asking for help from Ecuador.
We are not sure that NK will supply arms to Russia. Apparently while China likes Russia for sticking it to the West, they really don't like this war. They just want it to go away. They may be very unhappy with NK if they decide to help out in a massive way.Nope, NK has shed ton of Arty/shells, etc. It would be more like the US asking SK for help, though I imagine that SK's equipment is better maintained.

Understand, if Russia needs more shells... beyond the 2 million / year Russia is producing....
We need to step the hell up.
"Russia's current ammunition production is seven times greater than that of the West."

Russia is not going to leave bud. This is fantasy stuff. But it does sound the US is prepared to leave if Zelensky doesn’t get his act together.
Politics matters and at the end of the day, the US is not going to continue funding an endless war. We have funded endless wars in the past but that was because we were directly involved in these wars with boots on the ground. No so with this one.
Also, giving Ukraine billions of dollars in US taxpayer money while Maui residents got a $700 left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth about Project Ukraine.
How the fuck is that even possible when they're sanctioned? Russia doesn't have the in house knowledge and machinery to make advanced chips these weapons require. Are they going about like China and using a friendly third party? The US just banned some middle east nations from buying NVidia h100s due to them reselling it to China.Understand, if Russia needs more shells... beyond the 2 million / year Russia is producing....

The result of their mothers drinking while they were in the womb me think.Inexperienced people at war with plenty of booze around, no way. I just hope their vodka supply holds up.

?With the Big Twit's recently stated position on Taiwan, he needs to be cut off from all Government contracts since he simply cannot be trusted.
More like we have too many turds here who fed us bullshit about what putler has in stocks. Someone is supplying them as an intermediary. My money is on some of the countries in those leaked docs a few months ago.So in about 15 years their secret good army will be equipped?
