And yet no stern words for the man responsible for said pregnancy
Party of personal responsibility shirking responsibility?!! Why I never...! :D

I hope the women in the lives of these religious nuts withhold "relations" claiming they don't want to get pregnant and risk snuffing out potential life.
And the daughters should make their lives absolute hell too....just put em on blast 24/7 for being such dicks.

They don't need to crow about it as they have a dozen other talking points to hammer the Dems on and to win. If it's truly a summer decision then the outrage will likely subside a bit by November, no doubt helped by the inept Dems and their continued lack of a messaging game even after SIX YEARS.
And are you including yourself in the inept Dem category?

Let's criminalize IVF and miscarriages. Fuck yeah!

Won't be surprised if this fails (surviving a committee isn't the same as passing all votes and becoming law), but still... that's pretty horrifying. It's basically a return to the mid-20th century, when women not only couldn't legally seek abortions in many places but often had few ways to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

And criminalizing miscarriages is downright spiteful — imagine going to prison because you were hurt in a car crash or fell down the stairs.

Evidently an abortion cost $5-20 in Nebraska in 1897.

I can see this spiraling out of control ...
We need less control here, that's part of the problem. They want to control us. Get the women to the polls. 70+% favor choice (men and women, among women, likely much more), get them to cast their votes for choice candidates, vote the Republicans out of office and then tackle gerrymandering and voting restrictions that favor Republicans.

Clearly the next step is remove women's rights to vote.

Fact is a great many women have successive miscarriages, can't come to term. Imagine the humiliation and harassment and perhaps horrible experiences with the criminal injustice system that they are apt to suffer, and these are women who sometimes/often desperately want to bare a child.

That's already in the constitution, a revision, what they call an amendment. Could they invalidate that? I don't know. Clearly, they'd prefer that women could not vote.
