The people I know have envied his marksmanship and self control that night.
To be able to survive the lynch mob. We could only hope to be so lucky when the rioting mob attacks. Then the media went and finished the job.
He is not guilty, "free" to be a hated pariah outcast from normal society, further hunted by the peers of those animals on the street that night and only welcomed by a terrible right wing element that will end up using him. Either way, Rittenhouse's life was not saved that night. I cannot imagine a positive outcome from where he stands now.
Dude, I have a 20-something nephew who is in every way like Rittenhouse and has been since he was a teenager. Hates immigrants and leftists, talks about how they all need to die for 'treason,' and considers himself some kind of awesome patriot and defender of law and order even though he's a high school dropout who's been booted out the army, the police cadets, the volunteer fire dept, and even fired as an EMT.
And I can tell you with certainty that when he carries he goes out looking for trouble. I have listened to this self-inflated moron brag repeatedly about his dreams of being able to murder people in 'self-defense.' He hasn't done it yet, but I expect that someday he will, just like his hero Rittenhouse.
So just STFU already.
