That's called a rush, and it means that you took a really, really good hit.

I've never actually blacked out like that, but having everything go dark for a few seconds and having to sit down means you know what you're doing.

Just FYI to everyone in this thread - I'm sober. I quit willingly not too long ago. I did it for my girlfriend. Not because she had anything against it - she would smoke with me. But because I think I'm a better person overall. I'm more "alive", energetic. My mood swings are also less dramatic, which was the main reason for quitting. I would get very angry and frustrated until I could smoke a bowl. I didn't like that.

Mo0o, I'm a non-smoker who thinks pot will be legalized in my lifetime. I still won't smoke when it's legal. Maybe my expectations about legalization are skewed from growing up in a state where it's medically legal, socially accepted, and a county that produces it as an untaxed, illegal cash crop though.

i remember first time i smoked a blunt it was a good gram and a half on 2 heads and after we finished i was tellin my buddy " i cant breath, i cant feel my heart" and for 20 mins it was pure hell, but thankfully he was a seasoned toker and he calmed me down and explained what was going on and it was normal. needless to say i smoked the very next day so i guess it did'nt bother me too much.

I can't date guys who smoke a lot of pot--inevitably, I end up smoking wayyyy too much. It's like, that's all we would ever do! Eat, take hits, sleep, or watch a movie.

One time my brother and his best friend were smoking, and watching Dave Chappelle. There was this one part where he made a joke about his wife telling him to stop talking like one of those 20s mobster guys....and my brother and his friend laughed so hard they kept rewinding it. They must have watched that particular scene 80 times...even after my brother's friend started screaming "OMG I THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK" and started running in and out of the room, freaking out, laughing, and clutching his chest.

There is no such thing as a potaholic because it isn't addictive. It may seem like someone is "addicted" if they are doing it every waking moment...but really in most of those cases it is because that person is using pot to mask another problem/disorder in their life. That person could stop cold turkey and would have no withdrawals while an alcoholic would.

Sigh just because someone is wary of buying any type of drug off the street doesn't mean one believes in the drug war propaganda crap they spoon feed you. I'm as anti drug war as the next guy I'm just a newb and a pussy when it comes to this kind of thing and I also know that NOT all the stories of spiked drugs are lies. Face it the VAST majority of Joe Everybodys who smoke pot buy it off of a friend of a friend. They don't tend to do down to the corner of skid and row to buy it off the local skin head. My point is I don't know any such friends. Which is saying something considering I live in the most pot friendly city on the face of the planet!
