I think you're the one confused on 'principles', like the ability to have any perspective about what's symbolic and what's important. You are not in any position to use 'principles' to defend this.

Priinciples are very important, but they're often abused by those who are making mountains out of molehills and getting the important isues wrong.

Its very clear Pelosi DID NOT spend that much if you actually very carefully look at what is actually written in detail.

That figure INCLUDES ALL THE FOOD EXPENSES FOR ALL THE OTHER MANY CONGRESSMEN on Congressional delegation trips, with 56 Congressmen on one trip to Louisiana alone. We frankly have absolutely no clue from the Judicial Watch figures how much Pelosi actually personally spent on food costs.

Basically I consider the Judicial Watch link close to outright deception because everything is carefully phrased to give the clearly false impression Pelosi spent that much personally on food, which is clearly bogus.
