The 2000 pages are online at judicialwatch.org . It is instructive to at least glance at them, and it really doesn't take long. You will find that many outright lies and half-truths have been written about what is contained there.

The documents cover 2004-2009; so a large portion of it regards speaker Hastert's travel.

Contrary to what is being reported on some web sites, I found no instance of family members or anyone else flying on Pelosi's plane when Pelosi wasn't present. Everyone other than Pelosi, the military escort, and the Capitol Police, paid for their seat. (Doesn't that effectively -reduce- the cost of the flight to the taxpayer?) Everyone except Pelosi also paid for their own meals. (I didn't add everything up, but I wonder if this was deducted from the $100K reported?)

Alcohol was -never- served on the Washington-CA shuttle flights. It was so conspicuous in its absence that I suspect that it's a military regulation that alcohol not be allowed. (Same for Hastert's Washington-IL flights.)

I noticed that authorizing documents for Pelosi are often separate from the documents for others on the flight. They all seemed to be paired but there could be something I missed - I'd really like to see it. The documents as presented are pretty disorganized; it's possible that paired authorizing documents may not be co-located.

I didn't read all of the pages in detail, but I glanced at most of them. Never saw any caviar, don't know about cognac, but most of the wine was $16/a bottle, and most of the rest was $10 or even $8 a bottle.

Hard to tell sometimes though. I know that if I turned in expense reports as poorly documented as most of these are, I'd never get a dime.
