Any reason why you didn't continue? I'm at my most powerful, strongest and fastest. I'm not as lean but I wouldn't have it any other way

I still do weights... I'm 31 now. I stopped doing deadlifts because I could never find a great way to do them without back issues. Let me tell you when I did the 350 I had a belt on and my form was _atrocious_. Bench I basically hit about 240-250 max when I was 18 as well and then it hung there for years until the five years ago I had another go at raising it. Then the next year I got into running and since then my interest in weights has massively gone down and been replaced by endurance sports. I do a lot of strengthening to support running (legs and the like), but upper body I hit about once a week just to keep what I have (or a reasonable facsimile of).
I could never compete in weight lifting but anybody can compete in endurance sports, which is extremely motivating regardless of where one is, front of pack or back.
