Get a better ring lol. Spend like 3-4 chaos and you can get the same stats ring but with 40-60 life on top of it easily.

Yeah I know. It's one of the items I need to update. I only used it because I found it and it was better than what I had at the time. Then had more pressing items to update.

Didn't want to wait until yellow maps to find a trial so I just bought an offering and finally did uber lab. Went for onslaught points on raider for more speed.

I sometimes get lazy about my gear. Last night I was going to buy a unique HELM (Asenaths chant) and I was worried it would mess up my resistances, and I'd have to change the rest of my gear to make up the res loss. Checked my current helmet and apparently it has like 10 res and 30 life, I bought it for an alch during acts and forgot to change it out so far.

LOL yeah totally agreed and been there 100 times. My boots right now are... well... "good enough''. I know they need to be replaced but that might require a lot of other juggling. It becomes tedious and often is just easier to avoid until you HAVE to do it.

picked up a (cheap) +1 totem shield last night. That helps DPS quite a bit. I can basically have up to 5 standard totems and 2 Vaal Totems up hammering away.
hit lvl 89 (finally).

The game is so much easier when you get currency drops. Had a random exalt drop a few days ago, yesterday got a div card that I flipped for 1.8ex. Bought a cold iron point and some other gear, still have several hundred chaos in the bank. Just gotta figure out map sustain now.

Yeah still waiting for the "big drop" to really boost the stats.

I've had a bunch of 10-20C drops that have added up and I've really found that listing lower currency (alts, jewelers etc) allows you to offload that stuff for spendable chaos. It's a lot easier to let the buyers come to you then you trying to find a seller.

Alright, I finally finished the campaign and got to maps. Looks like it was the wrong league to be playing Elementalist from some of the posts I've read. Right now I'm using Arc in a 4-link with Lightning Penetration, Faster Casting and Arcane Surge. Not sure what else to add to these once I get a 6-Link. I had tried a combination of spellslinger with arc and ball lightning but that took up too much mana; I couldn't run many auras. Skills-wise I just basically took lightning notables and energy shield. I'm at level 74 with 2.2k HP and 1.8k ES.

man I broke down and spent every penny I had on a 6L Loreweave. That was a game changer. Plowing through loaded red maps and krangleverse without much of a problem. I tossed in fire penetration as the 6th link and then put enfeeble with my flamedash hextouch. Really helps survivability. I keep switching between the +1 totem shield and the Vix Lunaris (more D and +2lvl aura gems). Still sitting on crap boots though

Next 2 links on your build would be spell echo and added lightning damage. Also wanted to mention the cluster Arcing Blows you have spec'd is for weapon attacks not spell attacks. So it doesn't do anything for you and should be removed. Changing the Mastery point in your lightning cluster from 80% crit chance if you've shocked to +1 chain would probably feel better clearing as well.

Have you thought of buying a +1 totem shield that has 30% reservation efficiency on it? If you do that you could dump the mana nods you pathed to...the entire corner really. Then you'd have the passive points to move into better cluster jewels. There are a couple that are really good like sleepless sentry. My version gives you a bit more health and 50% more damage plus a nice movement speed bump. It does use 3 totem instead of 4 so I'm not sure how that will feel for clear. There are better cluster jewel configs but I just picked cheap ones for you.

I was using a +1 totem with efficiency shield for a little bit. I didn't really need the efficiency (I never run out of mana) and the extra totem was.. meh. I didn't think of reallocating the skill points to other things. I did google around for good cluster jewels for totem builds the other day and stumbled on a few of interest. I will have to give it a look and see.

And, FWIW,I can not beat Sirus. I watched videos on the methods etc and I just get smoked every time. I've never beaten him. That's embarrassing to say.

Having you tried pulling out all the stones and running him at awakening level 0 to practice? He has less attacks and less health this way.

Probably worth it to watch some boss fight videos on youtube. I don't know the Sirus boss fight mechanics at all but I managed to beat A6 Sirus a few leagues back by just face tanking his damage and dying and using up all my portals, but my dps was good enough to take him out.

A8 Sirus though I've haven't even come close to beating, although I've only managed to spawn him twice.

Is it worth it to scourge red maps or should I just go for white maps. Do the rewards make a difference if I'm not going to be picking up high ilvl items.

No. That would make too much sense :)
If you're bored, reload my PoB, moved a bunch of stuff and picked up clusters

Thanks. fixed that. Nice to free up three points. How about chain support, I was thinking since arc does increased damage with more chain it would increase overall damage.

You running 5 totems right now? How does it feel compared to before? With 5 it looks like you have 60% more damage than before. You have a couple of jewel sockets you could move points into and since you're totem you can probably get life + triple damage jewels cheap. Each triple damage jewel is worth around 6-7% more damage for you.

Chain support has a built in negative multiplier so it ends up not adding hardly any damage.

Yeah 5. Damage is pretty impressive. I had the shield already as I gave it a run before I went to the cluster jewels. I saw on the original build thread the OP suggested putting Ancestral Protector in for a gem as well then run 4+1 and the overall damage is much more. Not sure about that though. Need to plug it in an see.

I really didn't know what notables were going to be best so I just gambled on some. I think I need to change to life leech though and not mana leech. And find a 30% efficiency shield to help keep the mana up.

So you're saying reallocate some skill points to get to jewel sockets and slap in a triple jewel? Not a bad idea. Do you think the simple +physical damage eyes like I have now are still the "best' way to up the damage?

4 warchief plus 1 protector totem up gives you 20% more damage. The attack speed buff that totem gives with the Panopticon notable is huge.

Keep in mind your totem damage doesn't leech mana and it only leeches life because of your Ascendancy choices. You can't actually leech any mana in your build.

So you're saying reallocate some skill points to get to jewel sockets and slap in a triple jewel? Not a bad idea. Do you think the simple +physical damage eyes like I have now are still the "best' way to up the damage?

I'll just toss out different things and what they'll add to your current damage. That way you can test different things and see what works for you.

7% more damage - 780% multi facebreaker with elemental weakness curse on hit corrupt. You'd have to dump enfeeble but it frees up space for more damage. You can fix sockets/colors on bench or with new currency.
Link: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Scourge/pbpvX5wu0

9.5% to 11% more damage - A golem of your choice(stone or flame) plus elemental army support for 10% fire exposure on hit. A minion life support would keep it alive even longer.

6% to 7% per jewel - Triple damage jewels I listed in the prior post

20% more damage - Doing the 4+1 protector setup as mentioned above

5% more damage - 1 point into the elemental mastery picking 10% of physical damage as extra damage as a random element

10% more damage - medium cluster jewel with Sleepless Sentries

A good bit - re-doing your belt/ring/amulet setup with a Stygian with big resists that way you can get Steel rings in both ring slots. This also allows you to change out to a better ammy.

Here is a PoB if you put most of those things in but not the rings. It's set at lvl 91 and it gives you about 30% more clearing dps(no protector) and about 60% more boss dps. I think you could buy everything I put in for like 150c or so.

I swear to God you're Chris from GGG....

I will dig through all this later tonight when I get home. I've been looking for steel rings with resists that I need (and keep belt) but I could have sworn they were $$$. either they dropped in price or I'm missing something https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Scourge/GlBdBZFb There's double physical damage mods on there for sub 50C.

I could toss a minion on CWDT taken as well (remove increased duration). I always like that option as I hate self casting junk.

I guess I will try the protector too. I know I'll end up with 4 protectors and 1 Warcheif totem though :)

Replacing Amulet will be $$$ as for the anointing.

As long as the projector is not part of the main link you won't accidentally cast extra of them. When both are tied to a single multiple totems support it gets annoying. In regards to the anoint, the oil prices are pretty cheap. A gold oil is only 30c so your total anoint cost for heart of flame is like 32c.

If you need some currency, let me know. Started chaining Alva quests in white maps for a couple hours, got lucky and had a t3 corruption in every temple. Not even running the Alva atlas passives. Sold them all and have a few exalts sitting around that I'm not going to use anytime soon.

I just annointed Heart of flame myself on Xoph ammy for a big damage boost. 32c like rstrohkirch said. I even had to buy the clear oils since I didn't have any that low (ignored on my filter). Just bought like 100 of them since the first guy I messaged was selling 100 per 4 chaos.
