The impact areas for 155mm artillery training is on the far eastern side of Pendleton. The point of the 155 artillery training would be to support units farther inland not just at the beach environment.

The Marines felt confident enough to fire rounds over the Freeway Friday evening and the interstate was not closed. So why would firing over a highway be perfectly safe in Sweden but not in the US?

To prepare for Saturday’s event, artillery rounds from M777 howitzers were fired from Red Beach east over Interstate 5 on Friday evening as a test run, said Capt. Gregory Dreibelbis, a spokesman for the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force, which is based at Camp Pendleton. Vehicular traffic along the interstate was not closed off while the artillery guns were firing, he said in a statement.

M777 artillery pieces have historically been fired during routine training from land-based artillery firing points west of I-5 into impact areas east of the interstate within existing safety protocols and without the need to close the route,” Capt. Dreibelbis said. He called the test firings an “established and safe practice” as a rehearsal for Saturday’s event.

And just recently Kegseth limits the stories that come out of the armed forces.

You are awful quick to believe the current government press while need proof for everything else

Weird you comment on things you have no idea about them

I think you are missing something.

If the USMC says this was established procedure to fire 155mm over the I-5 freeway, how many times in the last decade was this done? The USMC fired over the freeway on Friday evening and didn't think much about it.

I think asking these questions and pressing for answers will help determine if the Marines had been telling the truth or not.

So if I understand this right the US military blew up a boat full of fishermen who were in distress (lying that they were cartel), the Colombian president complained about it, Trump called the Colombian president a criminal and shut off US aid which mostly helps them combat drug orgs, and now the Colombians have recalled their ambassador.

Somebody call the Nobel committee.

Is this also the one (sorry, there's too many to keep track of now) where the two surviving "narco-terrorists" were also released back to their home country? Because, you know, we always love to release terrorists for no real reasons.

So now in essentially an admission they are committing murder the US is releasing the two survivors of the most recent ship we attacked.

Meaning these people were so bad they had to be killed but not bad enough to be prosecuted.

yeah, funny that

Epstein files. release them

So guilty we missiled the boat, rescued them, and are going to repatriate.

Honestly just kinda shocked they didn't try to send them to Gitmo our default extralegal prison.

I’m having trouble keeping track of all the war crimes now—but weren’t these two survivors allegedly from the narco submarine that they sank? Are we going to find out next that this wasn’t actually a submarine—or am I confusing this with a separate incident? I could’ve sworn we were told that the 2 survivors were piloting a submarine that had no legitimate purpose other than smuggling drugs and/or people.

Lots of interesting information in this article:
a) Administration is lying about just about everything (no surprise)
b) Administration is hurting the war on drugs for political wins (no surprise)
c) Administration knows it is deporting innocent people (no surprise)
d) ....

President "War Crimes" is keeping it real. We're up to 7 boats destroyed by US military.
At this point, I have to assume US forces will squat in the region and just keep randomly killing people.
United States is the bigger Israel now, and brown people are our Palestinians.
