Schilling shouldn't be on the mound if he can't push off his back leg. Stupid to risk October by hurting his arm now (since he's using all arm to throw).

Series tied up. Nice blonde highlights ARod, will you go out on a date with me?

It's good to be in first. 200 million, eat your hearts out!

Looking forward to July 14-17 vs NY. 😀

Dont be so bitter man, its just a game. The Sox had the highest payroll of any WS champion, so stop whining about the payroll.

I dont think Arod is gay 😕

Crazy weekend for the two teams. NY took 3, but lost one 17-1 for the second time this season. That has to suck.

Last night had some good drama at the end, Boston almost pulled out the win on Gordon/Rivera.

Yeah, that game really did suck for the Yankees. But I see two reasons why it wasn't so bad for them: 1) They threw a bunch of AAA pitchers into that game against one of, if not THE best, offense in baseball and it is not likely they will start again, and 2) instead of being demoralized, the Yankees started off hot against the Sox best SP in the next game (Clement) and took that game and the next.

It doesn't matter how many runs you score, as long as you score more runs than the other team.

wonder how many times he struck out last night

Last night was probably his first ever 0 for 4 game with zero strikeouts 😀

At this point, if the Red Sox took a dump on the sidewalk I would expect the Yankees to go pick it up and put it on the roster.

Our unit is bigger than yours. End of argument.
Our pitcher has more rings. 😉

Your pitcher would've lost game 7 to us if not for our pitcher.... Btw, how is Clement going to work out for you? That guy hits 100 pitches around 4th inning and is out by the 5th. It'll be fun watching him face tougher AL lineups. That guy had sub 3 ERA on a decent team, but only won 9 games. I know, I had him on my fantasy team last year 🙁

he only won 9 because he had the worst run support int he league

Oleruuuuuuuud!

How come the ex-Yankee is helping us immensly, but your ex-Red Sox's aren't doing squat? Hmmm........

Embree......Bellhorn......Mendoza (even though he was the biggest waste of space and salary in Boston)........

Any more scraps you want? I hear Ponson's available for a month before becoming a free agent.

😀

Can the Red Sox please give the Mets Manny?? Please???? We'll give you Trachsel!! Hey..c'mon dude.. the Red Sox starters have been putrid lately..Trax would be a great addition to that rotation!

By the way.. apparently the Yanks wanted Trachsel and offered Felix Hernandez..the Mets promptly said F U.

How quickly the young forget.

One thing very casually omitted by the fans of the puce hosiery is how slim the lead in the East has become, and how tentatively those fans look toward the two major series left in the season. Most of said group expected to be in much more control of the division at this point in the season considering the slow start New York had.

Mark the dates on the calendar - September 9th through the 11th, and September 30th through October 2nd. Win or lose, it's certainly going to be exciting ball to watch.

Oh trust me, I don't like the fact that those bastards have hung around this long, and we haven't been able to put the division away. Selig would like nothing better than to have the division come down the that last series of the year at the end of September to bolster his ratings and take the heat off him regarding the steroids issue.

I hope the sox win the pennant but the yankees get the wildcard. otherwise its going to be a boring playoffs for baseball fans :|

oh and olerud is my hero.
