Week 12 Comments:

*With Andrew Luck in the bag, it might be time for the Colts to look more at Barkley and see if he might be the better choice and trade down to draft him. It should be interesting in April.

*Rumors are swirling that Manning is more likely than not to retire. Yes, if that happens, I will cry. 🙁

*I haven't been keeping up with my weekly LOLs(+), but this week's LOLs go to the: Lions, Chargers, and Eagles.

*The AFC is really weak this year. God help them in the Super Bowl.

*Most are speculating that Belichick will run up the score on the Colts. Keep it classy Pats -- save your energy to avoid yet another embarrassing playoff loss instead.

*Suddenly, the Cowboys and Raiders are 7-4 and are trying to hold off the Giants and Broncos, respectively.

(+) Colts get a LOL every week, so I don't need to mention them explicitly

I would not count on Barkley leaving USC for the draft. I see a lot of PAC12 news, and from the interviews and comments I have seen, he seems to be leaning heavily to returning for next year. I know a lot of players say this, but he seems very genuine about it and is not mincing words.

Do you have some news I may not be aware of that makes you think he will enter the draft? Just curious.

Oh yea, do the Colts still train in Anderson?

Man, what is it with the Chargers and Giants and these epic breakdowns year after year?
That's pretty cold lumping the Giants in with the Chargers.

is USC's head coach trying to reverse psychology Barkley into staying?

Winners in bold. Picked Indy for the lulz.

Recap on my picks. Some close ones, including the Indy game shockingly. 9 correct, 6 incorrect, so not that great, although I lost two by 3, and took a lolgamble with Indianapolis 🙂

Well, Fins headcoach is may as well looking for another job.

2 INTs given up by the Cowgirls and only scored 3 points? And you clap hands? Really?

Did not go for 2 points after the late TD and lost by 1 point. Really?

What a shame. A proud franchise becomes such a pathetic bunch after Shula and Marino left.

<<----Fins fan since the 80s.

He'd be stupid not to turn pro if he is projected as a top 5 pick. Look at Leinart -- he was going to be the #1 overall pick and decided to stay another year and then dropped to #10 (or was it #11) overall.

Yes, they train in Anderson.

I'd hate to see Manning retire so "soon", but I think it's a good idea. He doesn't need the money, and he's not going to win a Super Bowl next year. Serious neck injuries are a BIG deal for quality of life. I'd hate even more for him to come back with subpar awareness and mobility and get knocked out for good.

Didn't he sign a big contract extension? or did he not sign it yet? If he did, does he get anything out of it?

Being a Lions fan, I think the defense will actually play better without Suh in there. He has to be one of the most overrated players in the league.

Being a Lions fan you must not watch many games or understand football....if he was Sooo overrated he wouldn't be double teamed 65%+ of the time.....

2 games...acceptable
