Impressive to see Manning take such a beating all game but not really lose his cool or turn it over.

Wow. Screw-up once but twice on punt returns is surreal. I would rather had faced the 49ers and consider the Pats to be the underdog in this rematch based on how poor the secondary is and how well the Giants D is playing.

I love that I get to see this rematch. Was in Hong Kong watching SB42 in a pub at 8am with 15 - 20 other Americans. Being in NY for this one will be just a bit better. :D

And yeah, Manning is not a scrambler. Good thing he can take a hit. That 49ers defensive line was amazing. Stopped the run and got 6 sacks. The SB should be a walk in the park after this game.

Notice that once the rain started, no one really scored.

The 49ers dline put a lot of pressure on Eli. Prop to the giants d and offense and special team.

The faints has great wrs, while the pats has a pair of awesome tes.

Poor bastard. Williams is supposedly getting countless death threats right now.

@KyleWilliams_10. I hope you, your wife, kids and family die, you deserve it - @javpasquel

You Die Yet ? @KyleWilliams_10 - @Bigga_7cs

I hope you get aids and die - @qu3stl0v3

If you died tomorrow, no one would attend your funeral. I hope your parents disown you. - @crotchofgold

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-s...star-spangled-banner-rendition-214458567.html

Steven Tyler, lead singer of the Boston-based, Hall-of-Fame rock and roll band Aerosmith and an "American Idol" judge, was brought in to sing the national anthem before kickoff of the New England Patriots AFC championship game at home. Well, sing is an overstatement.

It was more of a warbled scream. Associated Press is saying that it would not get him to Hollywood, while Deadspin called it one of the worst anthems of all time. Radar gave him credit for getting all the words right, but that's about it. Sports Grid asked, "How is this guy supposed to pass as a judge on a singing competition when he does… this?" The Boston Herald was one of the few voices to defend Tyler, calling the performance, "pretty decent."
At least he did wear the best scarf in the history of scarves. Pageant queens everywhere now know why there is a worldwide shortage on sequins.

It's good to know I wasn't the only one who thought he sucked...Kristin Chenoweth's rendition at the Giants/49er game was MUCH better. (even if she is an admitted Giants fan...much to the dismay of many San Franciscans)

Jim Harbaugh wouldn't even do a post-game interview, what a sore loser. At least his bro has more class :D

That's disappointing behavior from him. The refs were solid in the game and he has no one to blame but himself for keeping Kyle Williams in.

I bet Jim Schwartz was laughing, though. :D

The Giants are clearly the better team, but as we know, that doesn't always translate into a win in the SB.
