fuck i should have put more money on the Giants when they were paying 17-1. going to vegas for SB with 20 other buddies...half of us have $500-1000 to win each if Giants beat the pats...should be epic trip.

I'm thinking it's going to be Patriots. They've got a bit more to prove right now (revenge for missing out on a perfect season, loss to Giants in week 9).

History likes to repeat itself. Pats almost gave that game away at home against a team that did worse than the Niners this season, and that ended up being the one and only team they beat with a winning record this year, I give the Giants and good chance of winning.

But SF didn't play good enough to win, no 3rd down conversions....that's pathetic.

That said, I hope Eli beats Tom Brady. I can't stand the Patriots.

This Kyle Williams reminds me of the Roger Craig fumble in a NFC championship game over a decade ago. At least Roger Craig helped the niners win a superbowl previously unlike this idiot.
 
So the NFC's streak of 10 streak of 10 straight years with a new team in the Super Bowl not previously in the streak ends. Interestingly, the Giants were the last team in the Super Bowl before the streak and the first team after the streak.

As jealous as I am, kudos to the Patriots for making another Super Bowl. 5 appearances in 11 years is an impressive feat bettered only by the Cowboys who went 5 times in 9 years in the 70s, and they only win twice to the Patriots' 3, potentially 4 wins.
