One Sunday morning a man walks into a bar wearing his Packer colors. He sits down next to a guy drinking a beer and asks, "Wanna hear a joke about the Bears?"

The man sets his beer down and says to the Packer fan, "Buddy, let me stop you right there. See, I'm 6'5" and weigh 260lbs and I'm a Bears fan. That other big guy sitting next to me? He's my twin brother. And he's a Bears fan. And, just for a point of reference, that big guy standing behind you now? The 6'6" 300lb monster? Yes, he's a Bears fan too. So, you think you wanna tell the joke now?"

The Packer fan looks the three guys over and says, "Well, not if I have to repeat it 3 times."

I thought Championship weekend in the past was one game Sat and one game Sun

Kinda sucks, don't want to get up at 11:00 on Sunday, BS

In all my years on the left coast, the only thing that I regularly missed cause of the time difference was the nfl pregame shows. But even so since every other scheduling decision is made for over there it was hard to complain.

How could anyone actually miss the NFL pre-game shows? They are all freaking terrible. D:

Wow, just looked at the stats for the upcoming AFC Championship game.
The Steelers allowed the most rushing yards to the Jets this year. Keep the ball out of Ben's hands and keep it out of Sanchez's hands apparently is how the Jets may attack the Steelers.

yeah, there's a game plan, a whopping 106 yards on a combined effort (neither Tomlinson or Greene had over 50 yards). 🙄

People are quickly forgetting that Polamalu was out in that game and is actually quite pivotal against the run in the Steelers' defensive scheme.

They also seem to be forgetting the the Steelers actually had a lot more success running the ball than the Jets did. Mendenhall was 17 carries for 99 yards with a total team effort of 146 yards. The Steelers offense in general had a lot more success moving the ball (410 vs. 276 yards).

Lets also not forget the Steelers starting TE Heath Miller was out that game and the backup TE Spaeth dropped the last chance TD pass (as well as an earlier pass that could have made a difference as well) that alone would have won the game for the Steelers in the final seconds despite spotting the Jets 9 points with a kick return on the opening kick and a safety. Points from defense and special teams aren't something you can count on every game.

I think people are too optimistic about the Jets chances. I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers win by a comfortable 24-13 in a relatively boring game.

Jets D saying the field looks a lot better now than in previous game and when reviewing the previous game tape they thought they played pretty bad on defense.

I also heard similar things before the Pats game as well. They were also predicting reasonable scores of 600-3 and eleventybillion - negative 50

Lol, just realized both game sare on Sunday. Thought it was one each day...damn, such an idiot.

lot of talk of jets and bears as the losers at the end of the day; i think either game can go either way and surely wouldn't be putting money down here.

this. they aren't worth anything. same for sportscenter and most sports programming, if you ask me.

I do like the occasional PTI whenever I catch it, though....but that's very rare.

I used to watch this stuff constantly. Then I realized that these jerkoffs really don't know that much more about what's going to happen form game to game than any regular sports fan. and their non-game related programming is just indulgent crud.

I think the Jets will win, and while I expect the Packers to win--I'm pulling for the Bears and think they have a legit shot at winning.

either way, I'm all NFC.

Most of the sports shows on TV are pretty terrible, but I do like some of the podcasts out there as they generally have a different tone and there are not 20 people in the room trying to talk over one another. The NFL shows are by far the worst and I never feel as if I am actually learning anything and they are certainly not entertaining.

Yea, this is an interesting final four. I just don't see a clear favorite, any of these teams are capable or winning or losing to any of the others. I think Green Bay has the best offense of the bunch, but they all have really strong defenses. It's really difficult to pick a clear favorite in my opinion.

Packers have a good pass D, and lately they've gotten very lucky in getting balls their way which has made their defense look any better once you are only playing to defend one type of play. If pack makes it to the bowl, they'll be facing one of two of the best running teams of the league and could be in real trouble.

I put money on the Packers to cover (-4) and the Jets money line (+290). Packers just look way too strong and Rodgers is the man (so is Matthews), so I really feel they will win by a TD or more.

Steelers did not look all that impressive to me and while there is a chance of a letdown for the Jets after the big Pats defeat, they did so well for me last week, I just have to ride them even though I hate them with a passion and I think Sanchez stinks.

Going to be fun regardless.

Who is "Sanchez"?

...oh wait, you mean Mark Sanchez? That guy who's 4-1 in road playoff games? 😀😀😀

They win in spite of him, not because of him. He was absolutely awful in the Indy game and was ok in the Pats game with a couple of good throws, but it's defense and the game planning that wins them games, not Sanchez.

That's fine, as long as they keep winning in spite of him I won't complain. 😉

What? He has a passer rating of 134 in the playoff games. I agree he's no super stud, but he's been no dud either.

I'd like to see a source for that rating. There is no way Sanchez has a 134 career playoff QB rating. According to this, his career playoff QB rating is 92.2. Still a very good rating, but a 134 rating is in the stratosphere.

Well considering how well the Steelers D plays the run he's gonna have to play a much bigger role than the one he played in the Pats win, he did make some clutch throws in that one, credit due however vs Pitt he will be needed to move the chains a lot more, we'll see, should be interesting..
