Looks awesome - although I predict my K/D will suffer as I continue to drive my tank straight into the middle of the enemy forces heedless of how badly I am outnumbered

Same here,but i can't fly for nothing.

Same can be said about knifing,but every time i find a camper ready for the knife i get all excited and just blast them a new a**hole as fast as humanly possible.😀
 
Can't wait to use the mobile artillary & AC 130 to rain death at enemy's spawn (or close to it)! Reminds me of BF 1942 days...:sneaky:

LOL... I am the same... I can say I am an above average jet pilot, tend to crash - the towers/pole and the ground are OP! They nerfed the towers a few patches ago where you can fly through the top half at least...😀
 
For anyone who's a pro jet pilot, what do you guys use to control? I was wondering about picking up a Logigech joystick on my way home from work and give it a whirl.

I use the tradition keyboard & mouse setup, with the pitch up mapped to the space bar. IMO, joysticks and controllers are too 'sluggish' to be effective.

Save your money........I tried one (logitech extreme 3d pro) and flew even worse than ever. :'(

Well to be honest it did help me fly a jet a little better, but helis (which I can fly somewhat) were really awkward as I couldnt get all my buttons to map correctly. I also wasnt able to get the on foot controls using mouse and keyboard to cooperate well with the flight stick. Maybe its just that particular stick or maybe its just me being clueless as to how to properly set it up, but it was just too aggravating for me to fool with so I gave up.

This is what I use for jets too, but I just plain suck as a pilot. The only way I was able to get the jet unlocks was to use the F35 like a heli and hover to cap flags. I think I have a total of 2 jet kills! LOL

If you have Premium you can reset your stats. Here is the message you will recieve before confirming a reset:

These statistics will be permanently reset:


  • Score/Min
  • W/L ratio
  • Accuracy
  • K/D ratio
All Time Statistics and all other values will be unaffected
After reset, the affected values may take up to 20 rounds of gameplay before fully appearing.

Your "real" stats will remain at the bottom of the battlelog stats page under "All Time Statistics".

I reset mine just for kicks during the 2XP week and had a 1,700+ SPM for a while. 😀

nice i didnt realize they stayed as all time, i was thinking about resetting mine to see where they sit now vs how bad i was when the game came out

I look at the stats, but don't care enough to reset them. I guess if they were worse I would be tempted, but its not like you get a medal or something for having good stats. Only thing that kinda bugs me is my accuracy, cause I'm a good shot. Its not a reflection of my play, only that I waste ammo shooting at vehicles just to say f you. 😀

Oh nice, I did not even think about the binding key to pitch up. I got fed up with constantly having to spam my mouse hand. I fly with Keyboard and Mouse with the helicopter and it is by far the best way to fly for me, I am trying to get better with jets, but I find it is a much higher learning curve so I was wondering if Joystick is a viable option. I'm going to rebind a few keys for jets to see if it helps. Thanks for the heads up.
