Seriously, you're griping about high pingers because they have the advantage of longer spawn protection? Have you thought about how miserable it is for them to play with a high ping.

broadband isnt that expensive. the people playing on chicago servers with high ping are likely choosing that, or live in bumblefuck, in which I say, too bad

thats why I didnt buy a house in the country, no real internet 😛

Hmmm, I was told the opposite and cranked mine all the way down (to the left). At first I thought it did help a little when playing with friends that have nearly equal pings, but after getting into 64 player servers and dealing with super laggers, I think it has hurt more than it helped. I guess Ill put it back in the middle. I may try it all the way to the right first, just to see how that plays.

I don't know if he spawned on someone and just stood there because if someone revived him he should be proned... all I know is that I saw him there first and unloaded at least 150 rounds on that guy before I started recording so it was way longer than 10 seconds... my squad mate unloaded at least that much before he ran up to try to knife him at the beginnging of the video... at least 5 to 7 people were shooting at that guy!

Yeah they should make it so that when you have spawn protection, you look transparent like a ghost and all bullets go through you instead of being an invulnerable shield.

It happened so often as i had so many issues with my isp but sometimes i was able to but half the time i was praying they would kill me so i could respawn and move even for a little bit.

Kinda stubborn to leave a round till its finished.

you go outside the small towns and its nada here. the small towns all have atleast comcast cable and AT&T DSL, but truly rural ie no houses around you in a mile circle.....satelite...barf

Same here until a year or so ago, but now they are laying fiber all over the place. :thumbsup:

So With some switcherooing..I have +500 LOH (Down from 900 ish)

Good idea. Hell, I'd be happy with just some sort of visual indication that the person is being spawn protected

Remember the FPS game "Delta Force: BlackHawk Down" or whatever its called... they had that and I hated it... I always get killed by people with spawn protection because I would run out of bullets when their protection wears off...

I wonder if "Mother" and "Preacher" are the same people in MOH: 2010

This guy above was with me on a vi metro server,he would be on the enemy team but exploited the teambalance system somehow and he would spawn in our base appearing to be friendly,but clearly from the red tag above his head was enemy.

I killed this guy twice and one round still went 20-0 somehow despite no one reviving him so what you guys think?

Loved Battlefield 2 and greatly enjoyed Bad Company 2. However, I have heard many things that aren't so good about BF3, such as its not really a true sequel to BF2 like EA advertised it to be. I've also heard its more like COD than any other Battlefield game. I've watched many youtube videos and almost feel like the game play doesn't quite hold up to Battlefield 2, regardless I was wondering if maybe there was some hope and I might enjoy it. Let me just get to the question here, do you guys think I should purchase this game?

Only multiplayer shooter I play right now. I really enjoyed BC2, but I think BF3 is way better. People don't even give the game a chance because it's "not like BF2" are just a bunch of no-balls whiners.
