Anyone experience a large amount of crashing lately?

It's basically happened since adding CQ, but it almost seems to be getting worse as time progresses. System is stable 100% of the time, except for BF3. BF3 was stable prior to this, but now it's terrible.

Basically, 10 minutes into a game, it's almost guaranteed to either have the process/game freeze, or the entire system enters a hard lockup and I have to manually push reset to reboot my system.

I had a CQ server lock me up almost immediately yesterday. though it was just a BF3 crash and didnt lock my whole system up

The only expansion I've purchased is Back to Karkand, and actually the game has been running very well.
 
PS3 still crashes, its crashed twice on me in the past 2 days, only ever seen BF3 crash it, crached before as well, its stupidly random when it happens,


as for the link i posted, i know some of those guys who were on the winning team, i thought it was funny, they dont hack and are that good
 
I noticed since the CQ and patch updates there are some new glitches in the game... Like in some maps you can place mobile spawn points in places that are out of sight or in weird places and C4 glitches... I won't say where because I'm exploiting this too... LOL 😛

It looks like they are having Double XP this coming weekend again - but only for premium members...😵

Hmmm... Later on tonite I think I'll post screen shots on this thread showing where to place the C4s and where it will kill people... much easier than explaining it through PM...
 
Has anyone seen this bug?

You are playing and you die. You wait for it to get to the screen to deploy and suddenly, thankfully, your teammate revives you. That screen overlay (the one you get when you pick your loadout, or to quit the game) stays on your screen, over the action. You can't run or move anywhere (sometimes you can move). No matter what you do, you can't get rid of the screen. You can't "deploy" again because you are already playing. If you press ESC, you are taken to the first screen in the overlay which is the Resume, Options, Exit screen. Basically you have to play with this giant overlay or if you can't control your character, he's a sitting duck.

Yes, I got that a few times on Friday. It is easier to reproduce if you bring up the settings menu after getting killed and then revived. Many a time I got that when I thought no one was going to get me up again and I wanted to change my mouse sensitivity.
 
I got the above mentioned bug as well,as one also where when i spawn,my weapon isn't rendered or loaded in my hand,but you see the crosshairs and sometimes its stuck like this for about a minute,seems to happen about 4/10 times now and you can't switch or fire weapons period till it shows up in your hand.

Still trying to figure out if its a sli issue,or simply a new issue cause of the recent patch,but its driving me crazy cause i would spawn somewhere near a enemy and my weapon is non functional cause of this glitch and guess what happens.:|

This glitch has been around since release, I guess it doesn't happen enough for them to try and fix. It's happening more prominently though since Close Quarters came out, mainly because people are reviving a lot more now.

I get it quite often during the heat of battle when I try to spawn on a squad member closest to the fire fight... some one would revive me and I get that screen up... it happens when you are not patient enough to wait till the death ticker goes down to zero before you bring up that menu to pick whom and where to spawn...

Yes and it sucks!

Ive also been revived and then been unable to move with no screen overlay a few times.

There were times when i also run around with no weapons deployed! 😵 So all I can do is run up to an enemy to try to get them kill me...
 
Damn, I wish BF3 had Battle Recorder.

I was playing Metro and had a flood of guys coming down the front stairs. Killed 2 with the G3, out of ammo switched to the 93R and killed 2 more then ran out of ammo, switched to the knife and killed 3 more coming down the stairs. Then backup came.

So wish I could have recorded it.
