ARod should be suspended and fined for Game 7 for his "malicious and unsportsmanlike" (right out of the rulebook read on Baseball Tonight) swing at Bronson Arroyo's arm.
You do know that if it was an accident, it would have been ruled a fair call. So hypothetically, if a person purposly steps into a baseball to get walked, he should also get suspended?
Not to mention that Arod got called out on an interference call. So anyone that interferes from now on is malicious and unsportsmanlike. Right. If anything I give a big hand to Arod for displaying the kind of heart the Yankees need. They need to do anything they can to win against a very good Boston team. Arod is doing everything he can to help the team win. In case you didnt hear the interview, the umps told Arod to run over Arroyo next time instead of swatting the ball out because that wouldn't be interference. Is that better for you?
Arroyo wasn't in the baseline, and if Arod tries to run over his glove that's in the baseline, then that's perfectly within the rules.
Please refer to this picture clearly showing that Arroyo is on the baseline.

Easy, Mientkavicz was in the baseline, yes. So if ARod bowled him over it would have been legal. Arroyo was running
behind Arod and coming from the side, as your pic shows. If Arod has already run past Arroyo, then Arroyo is allowed to have any body part in the baseline, as your pic shows and you are asking.
