Even legal analysts on the news who saying they strongly suspect that Martin was an innocent victim are agreeing that evidence proving so beyond a reasonable doubt did not exist in this case. I have observed him time and time again deflect and blame others for issues clearly under his watch. I did hear him defiantly express that he is unable to deal with Congress and it's not his job. What a thing for the most powerful man in the world to say and portray.

I did not take it seriously since young people and liberals are always protesting there. However, two movies later there was a huge march going south on Broadway and it appears that the cops did not expect it because there was little control and traffic was at a standstill. The marchers were people of all races you can think of. What were they saying? Naturally "No justice no peace". But there was no thrashing.

So, yeah, the president being on top of this is a good thing. Unlike back in 1992 there is a black leader who can actually lead. That leads to less violence when you have verdicts like these.
