Exactly -- most of whom also happened to vote for him. Now you're getting it.

Actually if you break down the polling data - the ignorant and uneducated vote republican by a large margin. The college educated voted for Obama by a HUGE margin.

idk, I went to college with a ton of idiots... they mostly used macs ;)

As an Independent, I would strongly recommend you read both Common Sense Books. Glen Beck put out a new one and it has the old. He very clearly (even idiots should be able to get it) outlines the issues with current government. Oh and both parties suck...

If you read anything by Glenn Beck, then you are an idiot. No way around that. Plus calling someone an idiot in no way affects their freedoms.

From Websters:

idiot:an utterly foolish or senseless person.

The level of educational attainment has nothing to do with lack of common sense and the incredible naivete of those falling for the "change" line. I am college educated and knew many PhDs that probably could not survive outside of academia because they had no clue how the real world works.

I believe those idiot citizens you refer to are generally called his "base". ;)

That's because you fail to understand who they are. It's not his base that's abandoning him.

As I said in the post directly before your post, which you apparently didn't read:

The idiots include those who say 'Obama didn't double the stock market in six months without any deficit increase so I'm for the Republicans now.'

These people fail to understand the situation the economy is in and who is to blame and what's needed to fix it. They're not the types exactly to read books and get informed.

Craig, with all due respect, people arent abandoning him because, as you put it, "'Obama didn't double the stock market in six months without any deficit increase". Not even close. Do you ever read any of his criticism? People are abandoning him because 1. he's backing off of campaign promises, and 2. he's continuing, in many things, to follow Bush's foot steps on many important things. Things that, if I may say, Bush was blasted about, and Obama supporters seem to be either minimalizing or giving him a pass on.

Everyone knows the economy is fooked. I dont think anyone expected him to "'double the stock market in six months without any deficit increase", or anything close. Its a strawman defense.

to be fair, i don't think any candidate would be in a favorable position now.

but that's not saying i agree with obama's moves so far. far from it.

It wasn't most, thank goodness, but many. It's not not nice, it's meant as an objective statement and for a constructive prupose, not name-calling.

And I'm in favor of a lot of freedoms for pretty much everyone. That's one reason I try to help people who are being duped into giving them up, or worse allowing them to be taken from others, to understand the mistake and correct it Unfortunately, many people are pretty easy to manipulate.

As an Indepednant, you would do better to avoid garbage by radical right-wing people who mislead you.

If you would like to post one or a few of what you thought his best arguments are, I'd be happy to comment.

Why didn't OCguy make a thread about that?

Now it's back down to 56%. It'll be up over 60% again by next week.

Even 56% is more than Obama needs to crush the GOP

Why do you support him when he continues illegal detentions and aggression towards Pakistan?

Oh yea, you are a troll.

I looked at the DU thread on the detentions today, and let me tell you, he is pissing off his base.

Yeah, someone who makes more than 10K posts a year is calling someone else a troll. GAFL kid and a job.

Is this the part where I'm supposed to foam at the mouth and say i'm not a kid and scan my 1040s to prove i'm employed because some anonymous e-thug made fun of the all-sacred post count?

Do you have an on-topic post about Obama's drop in the polls?

What fiscal conservatism?

It is called being against every new massive spending bill Obama proposes.

Being the opposition is great, isnt it? All you have to do is say you dont agree with what is going on, and that you would do it differently. Isnt that how the pendulum swung back to the (D)s ? They voted for Iraq, funded Iraq, etc....but still said "Oh we would have never done that."

So when public opinion swung massively against Iraq, what party was there to catch all of those angry swing voters?

If Obama tanks the USD and public opinion swings against federal spending in a time of crisis, guess what party will be waiting with the moniker of "Fiscal conservatism."?

Yeah but all the D's have to do is bring up 2000-2009 to prove that's a bunch of bullshit.

No, this is the part when you are supposed to look in the mirror when calling someone else a troll. When did I ever say I supported Obama or voted for the guy? I didn't used to post as Pabster.

Is this really news? Everyone knows Obama has been doing a horrible job as president. One would be surprised if his numbers weren't down.

People have attention spans of 10 mins. Nobody will remember the 400 billlion dollar deficits of Bush, nor care, when they are looking at 1-2 trillion dollar deficits from Obama and Democrats and a smack down on our economy from other reforms.

And that'll only matter if the economy is still in the dumps. If it has recovered or is well on the way to recovery that's a dog that won't hunt.

Did you even read the polls posted in the OP?

Rasmussen polls based on how many people strongly approve of the job Obama is doing versus how many people strongly disapprove of the job Obama is doing. According to this, Obama's approval rating is -8, meaning more people strongly disapprove of the job Obama is doing than strongly approve of it.

The links were even provided...or did you just feel like spouting out typical Democrat talking points?

Hey Craig, gonna post in the Obama/dentention thread?

No, I didn't think so. You're an idiot, a coward, and a hypocrite. Which is probably why you vote Democrat to begin with.

Real men vote third party.

Real men vote for candidates that have zero chance of winning, so they never need to stand up and defend their ideology! You're a real tough guy there, Boberfett.

There are only two types of people who vote third party in America. Those attempting to influence one of the two major parties through their vote, and morons. Anyone who understands how our electoral system works wouldn't vote for a third party candidate for any other reason and would save themselves the time and expense of going to the polls.

I can't remember the last time I considered the probability of my vote over the principle.

The funny part is, with an apathetic mindset like that you're the idiot wasting your vote, and furthermore the reason America has such blind faith in our two most incumbent parties.

Well all Republicans would strongly disapprove of the job he was doing no matter what.
