Anyone here want to work as a nurse in Wuhan?
I might work as a nurse... from home. Telecommute.
But seriously, I have no credentials.

Did you really just quote a Cocker Spaniel? And Chelsea Clinton says ...
What I want to know is.....
WHAT does Donald Trump REALLY want that 2.5 billion for?
To spy on his political enemies?
More Trump MEGA hats?
Tax cuts for his rich donors?
WHAT is he really up to?

Anyone here want to work as a nurse in Wuhan? Apparently a country of nearly 1.4 billion people has completely run out of available nurses after treating a mere 64,786 patients in Hubei province/Wuhan. Sounds like an adventure of a lifetime!

So if Trump doesn't ask for money it's because he's a stupid meanie whose incompetence will kill Americans. To feel important? To be able to make a big gesture of 'doing something'?
That seems one of his main motivators in general.
So if Trump doesn't ask for money it's because he's a stupid meanie whose incompetence will kill Americans.
And if Trump asks for lots money it means he is some selfish ahole just in it for personal glory, or he's going to use the money himself for nefarious purposes.
This is why Trump will continue to do Trump things and ignore his critics, for better or worse.
Where did you get that context? In the Twitter app all I get is a 90 second clip in Iranian with no subtitles.RIP Iran. Ironic that this news conference was to meant convince the Iranian public the situation wasn't as bad as rumors suggested.
South Carolina Democratic debate tonight. Any Democrat candidate that cares about America will be talking about their pandemic policies tonight (especially related to health care for coronavirus patients). If they don't, they simply don't care, or *cue conspiracy* are hiding some painful truths from you.
Free coronavirus testing and treatment is what should be proposed...and not as part of massive overall health care reform AFTER the nominee becomes president. January 2021 is far too late to start taking action. Let's hear about what bills Democrats are writing in the House and Senate NOW (other than the CDC $2.5 billion which is already known) to make sure people who may be infected with coronavirus aren't scared to go to the doctor or hospital because of costs. Let's hear from the senators and the mayor what they are doing on a state and local level to prevent the spread and prepare for the sick. Let's hear how the billionaire Democratic candidates are going to donate hundreds of millions or billions of dollars of their own wealth to helping America through a crisis or using their wealth for crisis prevention and preparedness. And finally, I want the candidates to not just say what government should be doing to prepare, but telling the audience what they should be doing on a personal level to be ready.
Is opiod abuse really a 'disease'?

I have no idea whether cornoavirus testing should be widely available on demand, the whole issue of testing in general seems a complicated technical one, depending on costs and dangers of false negatives and false positives, and you need medical experts to decide the question.
I guess they get to meet their maker, sooner.![]()
Religious group at heart of surge in virus cases in South Korea - CNN Video
The Shincheonji religious group is at the heart of a spike of novel coronavirus cases in South Korea. CNN's Paula Hancocks speaks with a former member who explains why the virus may have spread so easily within the group.www.cnn.com
Looks like a South Korean cult didn't take it too seriously.

Tom Steyer is a billionaire as well.Surely there's only one 'Billionaire Democratic candidate'? And he's really a right-wing (and uber-hawk) Republican and shouldn't be there at all.
I've seen that testing costs about $300, so a million tests is only $300 million dollars. Costs are nothing compared to typical US government waste, and catching cases early that otherwise could be missed can save billions of dollars in future health care costs and lost productivity due to lock downs. Consider it a jobs program or stimulus package for the economy, rather than a cost. The biggest problem is ramp-up needed for test kit production, facilities and personnel.I have no idea whether cornoavirus testing should be widely available on demand, the whole issue of testing in general seems a complicated technical one, depending on costs and dangers of false negatives and false positives, and you need medical experts to decide the question.
I see reports in Europe of people being refused testing despite having a higher than average risk of infection due to their travel history or others they've come into contact with. The US is disappointed with high health care costs and lack of coronavirus testing. I'd be pretty disappointed with my "free" healthcare system if it allows a pandemic to rage through the country because widespread testing is "too expensive".But if you are calling for a socialised free-at-the-point-of-use health-care system, I'm not going to disagree. I'm more concerned about the Tories slow-motion dismantling of the one we already have here.
