I wonder if there's any correlation as far as what factors cause some people to have no symptoms. Ex: blood type, race, strong immune system etc. Or if it's just completely random.

Wait, you can replant those?! I've been doing it wrong all this time and throwing them out!

I just eat them...

Where do you think the virus came from? Considering this is a Pandemic unlike anything we have experienced in a century.
I don't understand how that follows logically.. So what if it's unlike anything we've experienced in a century? Does that imply something nefarious?

Since when regular chinese could pick and choose their own leadership by free and fair election? Since when censorship is gone in china? Since when oppression is no longer exist in china? Do you know what happened to Dr. Li (the one that tried to pull the alarm when the virus first hit in Wuhan) by his own government, right?

Shall I go on? Uh huh.

PS. Here is a hint. Commie china vs. Democratic China (Taiwan).

Except it more closely resembles Pinochet's Chile than anything Marx would recognise. Was Pinochet a communist?

There are some residue traces of communism, I grant you, but they've been progressively erased, and all that's left is some of the _form_ of the political excrescences. With Xi it seems to have almost completed the transition to authoritarian capitalism.

Anyway, I'm starting to think whatever route one tries to follow, one ends up with the same fascistic crap. Everything converges on it. You can just choose different roads to get there.

I think it's a probabilistic thing, and a consequence of general trends in human society.

Not saying it absolutely 100% cannot be a product of bioengineeering, but it seems improbable.

Firstly, what kind of rubbish bioweapon is this? It's going to kill great swathes of your own population and destablise the global economy that you depend on every bit as much as the 'enemy' does.

Secondly I don't see it's necessary to invoke bioweapons to explain this. The human race has experienced global plagues before, and now we are far more interconnected, with far more travel, and generally more densely packed populations, and more inclined to encroach on parts of the natural world we previously left alone. Seems reasonable to think that this was going to happen sooner-or-later.

A whole family in my area all tested positive, even young kids. They all had rather mild symptoms too. It's crazy how easily it spreads, even with no coughing or anything.

In other news, a 18 wheeler with a full trailer of toilet paper overturned and burned in Dallas, TX.

I'm seeing a lot of upset posts on FB feed about how our county pub health isn't disclosing where our confirmed cases are located, at least at the city level. I decided to look at what other jurisdictions are posting, and they're not being as specific either save for one who posts the city and number of confirmed. Our pub health is citing potential HIPPA violations if they disclose the actual location. Are your jurisdictions or neighboring jurisdictions being specific about what cities these confirmed cases are in? Is releasing info as to what city confirmed cases are in a HIPPA violation?

Edit: I realize most of you prob live in a city, I was more curious if your Pub Health orgs are releasing that info.
I haven't seen anything other than there are "X cases in such-n-such county" in my area. But my county doesn't have it's own health dept. either.

I didn't mean to imply it was a bioweapon, I think if anything it was an accidental release of a virus that was found in the wild that was being studied at the Wuhan Lab and was far more resilient than they imagined. The conspiracy part is just the fact that the government tried to cover up their own liability and incompetence.

I found this in the corner of my room tucked under a bit of carpet :) House is from 1940 i believe, who knows what else i may find lol. Tons of cubby spaces for stuff. Now i am inspired to get back into coin collecting now and finally complete something i tried back when i was 13 years old for a xf-40 set from 1909-1958 and even include all key dates in same condition. Then Work on 1913-1938 Buffalo nickels in same condition may i will have my work cut out for me with the 1913 stuff cause of that mound.......If to 1937 3 leg or not is up for debate it is a error after all.

I got all dressed up to run to the store to get some chicken and hopefully rice. Everyone here is still in bed, so I thought going early would be a good idea. As I was getting my boots on I started to think about some other things we might need. The "list" was getting longer, but some of the stuff I added I started to question if we really needed it. I took my boots off and decided not to head out until I went over the list with the wife. I figure if I'm going out, I might as well make it a run worth risking, and get everything we need. In my area, countywide, there is 10 confirmed, which isn't much, but still better safe than sorry.
10 confirmed could mean 1000 infected. Good idea to make it count. Rethink your mission beforehand.

I resolved last night to wear my N95 when outside the house. I went out today without it, not leaving the property and observed a man 1/2 block upwind of me shaking out a blanket. I thought to myself, what if that was putting a cloud of spores in the air? Back inside I went. Next time I went out it was with my mask.

So we have to act on every prediction that is made? I am pretty sure there have been a ton of wrong predictions in the past few years....

We live in a nice area that has low crime. My dad told me that cars are being broken into, and that I should be locking my car door.

His neighbor had his car stolen the other day. He left his keys in the car though.

Anyone afraid of crime returning?
I live next to dead people. A few more won't be noticed.
i read yesterday that crime in NYC dropped to near all time lows :O
until they release the violent offenders...

Fair enough, I just think that this was always likely to happen anyway, just from natural causes, so Occam's razor seems to apply. I don't see anything unusual or unnatural about this virus that would require invoking such a theory.

This Yemeni kid seems to think they have confirmed infected and recovered people in Yemen even though Yemen has yet to confirm a single case. Sounds like he can't decide if it's 0% or 1% though and he asks us to write a comment even though comments are turned off. :)

Yeah i had a house of constatine coin from like 330ad or something. Then a piece of eight from the 1652. Was from Mexico city mint. Had drapped bust penny in xf-50 from 1796, it looked like this one actually and was much cheaper back in like 2012 when i had this coin originally. I may buy another one again this year just like the one below :)
