I'm hoping this is the year for battery life. The One XL seems like a hit for HTC in that department.

Forget all the "spec junkies" on these forums claiming their GPU can playback a video at 5 fps more.

As odd as it may sound, no notification LED would be a deal-breaker for me. That's up there with micro SD slot as far as I'm concerned. LEDs are entirely too useful, especially when using Light Flow.

There is a app called NoLED specifically created because of SGS phones with no led. It works rather well and is more flexible than even having a LED.

I imagine using the screen like that uses up a lot more battery than a little LED. Neat app though.

Interesting. The Verge has a full press release with a partial list of features without the event even having begun.

Haha, I've never watched one of these live events before but it is pretty ridiculous, I can't believe they have like a sting ensemble for the unveiling of a phone.

Meh. Looks like a good smartphone, but it's not head-and-shoulders above the competition like the S2 was.
