It's different from a partisan moderating the political forum, because this is a business and viral marketing or preference to your fellow NV employees/focus group members is a high concern for the reputation of the board.
no offense, obsoleet, but you haven't been a member here very long unless you're under an alias and are an old-time member with a hidden agenda. I'm probably one of the biggest amd promoters on this forum but that doesn't keep me from wanting us to have the best support possible. If bfg and keys were both focus group members I wouldn't care because I'm more concerned about their integrity and, by extension, their performance as mods.
A good definition that I've always used about integrity is that it is doing the right thing when you know that nobody is watching. I would trust keys to do the right thing when nobody was watching, and I'm highly confidant that if nvidia tried to pressure him to do things that were against his moral code he would immediately walk away. I'd be VERY surprised if we could say the same about any of his nay-sayers.
edit, obsoleet, I see from your later posts that you are simply trying to stir the pot. My old boss used to tell me that it's impossible to stir shit without getting it on yourself. Why don't you lumber back to your hole and leave technical discussions about the finer points of adulthood or even video cards and graphics to the big boys. I would be happy to continue this conversation in pm if you would prefer that I be more specific.
