AEG has been gone two years, and the NVIDIA run Focus Group has always had full disclosure, as well as rules against flame war participation.

i think about that a lot .. i look forward to the day when hundreds of thousands of posters of all languages will be able to share with our unique family here. i want it to GROW - it cannot do that if we bicker and endlessly argue. Who wants to be part of a dysfunctional family?

that's highly debatable. Your mere presence here is disruptive. Your posting style is very aggressive and decidedly favors one company. In fact, I'm hard pressed to find ANYBODY on the entire AT forum who has a stronger bias towards one company.

I've watched the villification of Keys and re-living of the two year old AEG drama unfold in many threads here with sad disbelief.

WHAT??? How many old-timers are coming back on this thread (and many others) specifically to remind everybody of what you did? I don't blame you for being sad that your past actions have caused harm to another person, especially a quality person like keys, but do you really have "disbelief" over it? The focus group is going to continue to have a tarnished reputation, whether deserved or not, as long as you're associated with it and you continue posting here.

Sad to see you go as a mod keys. I used to spend alot of time here in the video forums (years ago) but stopped after the issues with rollo and others and the lack of actual un-biased information present. I recently started lurking again and noticed things had GREATLY improved which was a surprise to me. The more time I spent reading threads I realized alot had to do with you. From my end you will always be the one associated with the vid forums turn around.

Now BFG on the other hand... well, he was also one of the reasons (a smaller one) that I stopped reading the vid forums a while ago. Not that he was in the same category as rollo (or some others), he was just a little too passionate for my tastes. I have read some of his recent posts and it looks like he is definitly a level headed mod now so I'm sure the vid forums will stay in good shape. Besides Keys, you can always yell at him if he's not

Besides Keys, you can always yell at him if he's not

To be perfectly honest, I'd like it if Keys came back as video mod to watch my back.

If anyone questioned him he can say "I stepped down, demonstrating I put the forum first, but people asked me to come back so I did".

I also agree that Keys should come back.

I notice a difference in his absence right away.

I simply wanted to open a discussion re: his relationship with NV and how it would affect the forums (and I'm glad I did so...just disappointed with the fact that he decided to leave).

yeah, I was working on him the other day about it. he seems somewhat reluctant, something about having to completely change his posting style and/or not ever being able to post in video again... I KNOW THE SOLUTION!!! we could make rollo a moderator but not allow him to post in here. apoppin could be his moderator watchdog to prevent any unfair bias. Wow, where do I come up with this stuff???
