I think this is not true, yes.
So why is it that there are thousands of videos of Republicans being asked why they support a policy or oppose a policy but they are completely unable to explain why without listing a bunch of misinformation? I've yet to meet or see a Republican be able to defend their position. Every Republican politician when asked about policy deflect to something else or give a non answer.

So is the idea that all of America has been fooled?

So let’s argue this rationally. It hasn’t succeeded at the ballot box - why?
You can start by acknowledging that you strawmanned me by taking my argument that many Americans have been fooled and changing it to all Americans have been fooled. If someone like you can't even argue honestly how can we expect conservatives to argue honestly?

Next, you can explain honestly exactly what you mean by "it hasn't succeeded at the ballot box." What is it? I've been talking about multiple policies, and as far as I know not a single one has been an option at any ballot box. It seems to me that what you mean by it is Democrats. Democrats lose at the ballot box. I believe they lose for a lot of different reasons, many of which have nothing to do with actual policies.

Or maybe you mean like Bernie vs Hillary. Or Bernie vs Joe. Again I believe Bernie loses for a lot of different reasons, many of which have nothing to do with actual policies.

So you think people don’t adopt liberal policies because they are fooled?
As a full time, paid political activist during the Reagan years, YES, that's exactly what I think. We ran into it time and time and time again . . . people voting against their own self-interests because they drank the FWEEDOM cool aid.

Why do you think he loses?

So Bernie is a bad campaigner?
Bernie lost primary races because the democratic party, unlike the republican party, has an intact leadership cadre that put a finger on the scale and aided both Biden and Clinton at key points during the campaigns.

They curated a desired outcome, and they nearly were beaten by an outsider.

Bernie lost the primary and it wasn’t close. Like, not remotely close.

No. Bernie lost the primaries because he didn't get as many votes as Hillary or Joe. The DNC could have put their fingers on the scale if they wanted to, because it is their party to do with as they wish, but there is no evidence they did anything to hurt Bernie's campaign. They didn't need to do anything.

In fact, it was Bernie's campaign that cheated. They accidentally got access to Hillary's campaign data and instead of reporting it they took a good look around.

You don't need to guess what I think. You just need to debate honestly, and I'll tell you what I think.
Oh god are we back to the ‘you’re a liar’ thing?

What I think is if people think Bernie Sanders represents the median American voter they are stupid.

Tell me what you think.

Back to it? We never left it. Why would I tell you what I think if you're just going to misrepresent what I say? If you're willing to at least say that you won't do that again to me I'll be happy to discuss. I mean, the 'you're a liar' thing was just a joke but it is telling that that is all you took away from it.

I have never purposefully misrepresented anything a single person on here has said so stop whining.

Say what you mean.
So when I said this:
I think a huge portion of the population has been fooled. Do you think this is not true?
And this:
So why is it that there are thousands of videos of Republicans being asked why they support a policy or oppose a policy but they are completely unable to explain why without listing a bunch of misinformation? I've yet to meet or see a Republican be able to defend their position. Every Republican politician when asked about policy deflect to something else or give a non answer.

And you replied with this:
So is the idea that all of America has been fooled?
That was a mistake? You unintentionally changed huge portion to all? I know you know the difference, so what gives? Changing that wording was an attempt to make me look irrational. If you literally thought I think all Americans are fooled, well that's just stupid.

I voted for Mitt Romney back in 2012 against Bronco Bama. Would I do it again? Probably. Anything is better than the mess we have now.
