I guess we're getting a free STASH tab for the anniversary?

Has this been confirmed somewhere? I'd personally like a "BOGO" sale on STASH tabs...

Huge Huge Huge overhaul to stats, many skills and heroes, gameplay--with Raids being introduced this week. Also tons of gifts as mentioned.

Bumped this for those that may be interested and still haven't logged--do it now, so you can get the free stuff on Wednesday. Sounds like there will be some one-day-only type gifts?

Maybe consider spending a quick 5 bucks to unlock a cheap hero, as well, if some of the stuff is "paid-customer."

Be forewarned - I am hearing that anniversary rewards (at least some of them) will require you to have at least one level 30 or better character on your account.

Also, they're completely overhauling the way skill points are distributed per level in the game.

Pretty sure you can only change characters in hubs. If you're not in a hub, it will pop you back to a hub (or tell you you can't change characters - can't remember which). If you're in a hub that a character hasn't unlocked, it unlocks it. But it doesn't unlocked the chapter/quests for that particular hub. You still have to do the quests linearly for that character. IE: Yes, you can pop a level 1 character in Odin's throne room and unlock it. But you still have to go back and do the Prologue and all the other quests in order before doing any of the chapter 8 quests.

Bound items are bound to your character usually once equipped usually. There are a very few "account" bound items. I can't remember off the top of my head. There are crafting recipes that will let you unbind certain items (legendaries, relics, etc). Once an item is bound to a character, unless you "unbind" it with one of the recipes, you can't equip it on anyone else. Artifacts, Relics, Uru-Forged and "Any Hero" Uniques can be equipped on any character.

The Eternity Splinter vendor is located in each of the main hubs in the game (Avenger's Tower, Xavier School, SHIELD Helicarrier, Odin's Throne Room). I'd probably suggest the first thing you'd save your splinters for if you don't have one already is a Team-Up. Then start hitting up the random character boxes. As far as the fortune cards go, you'll occasionally get codes and freebies, plus you will be able to buy Mark 1's with Cube Shards rather than Eternity Splinters.

You can also change characters in public maps (but not in instances, like the Hood's ship or Taskmaster institute within the docks, for example)--like Jersey docks or whatever.

This helps if you are trying to grind out the quests that give permanent character attributes across the 3 difficulty levels, and you have another level 60 character that has all of those waypoints unlocked.

Yes, he is in every Hub, and the Splinter vendor is Adam Warlock.

Even if you don't want to actively use the team-up in the game, keep in mind that the team-up can give you passive bonuses. Like a +10% to RIF/SIF...

Cube Shards then... Clea. She can be found in each of the hubs as well. She's normally up near the terminals. Should be 10 or so Cube Shards per fortune card.

She should be there. Check in the Avenger's Tower, go through the doors up past Hank Pym up to where the terminals are. She should be hanging out in the upper right corner of the room labeled <Cube Shard Vendor>. Same think in Xavier's School... if you go to the terminal room, she should be hanging out to the upper right of the terminal deck. I can't remember where exactly she is on the SHIELD Helicarrier.

SO ah, Silver Surfer was announced as part of this patch. May not be tomorrow, but sometime within the month. No splinter/credit cost announced. His official character page is now up.

Yea I was confused at first as well. Just redeem it like any code and you'll get a hero box.

servers live--grabbed some stuff before heading off to work....holy hell the gifts.

Got a bunch of unique boxes and 3x ultimate power upgrades. saving some of that for SS next week. By the way: SS is confirmed 400 splinter/900g cost. testing this weekend, available late next week, hopefully.

some were saying in-game that the free random code is already expired...only 15 or so minutes after update went live. :\

Hopefully more available, as they limited it to one/account. One would think they could just issue a new package of keys.


but don't fret--I only got a 3rd Hawkeye.

When I tried mine initially it said it was expired. So I cleared cache, got a new one and that one worked.

so, 3 times as lame? ha!


sadly, no. It is a hero unlock, but if you do get a duplicate of that hero, you can use it to upgrade their ultimate power by 1 level when they turn 30 (though maybe that is only for non-reviewed heroes? reviewed = level 52 ultimate unlock, non-reviewed means they unlock ultimate and all skills by 30).

The last hero that I want to play, I keep getting. At least he has great synergies (4% total crit chance if you get him to level 50)....but I find that to be a chore with him right now.
