You can get any hero as a random, even ones you own. If you get a duplicate then it becomes an Ultimate Power upgrade token for that hero.

So, after you get your 20th dupe...not sure what to do there. Probably hasn't happened, yet?

With my luck, I will get 17 more Hawkeye tokens from random before I get the next one.

Yea 1 per 8 minutes. One time I had 10 drop at once. That was like Christmas.

that happened to me 3 times in one week--during the MM buff I think. Twice in the same run.

Anyway... new patch up, new "event" (sort of) for Father's Day. Anniversary event "encore" means it's still going through this week, still have time to get a char to level 30 and get all the goodies.

I've also added the current website sale to the OP for informational purposes as well.

And, there's a Mac Client currently in open beta for all you Apple users.

So there I am fighting Doom thinking he's going down fairly easy for the final boss. And then he transforms. And then he transforms again. Finished him off and starting the new chapter. Hit 30 shortly after and go for the rewards. Good news is on the first box I get a couple fortune cards and one of them is a hero, yeah. It's also the same one I'm playing. booh.

Actually... Yes. Three of the rewards were specifically ultimate upgrade tokens for xcharacters you currently own. That's how they work.

Arggh, just spent an hour trying to get the stupid Hand to appear on the roof garden so I can finish my quest. Nothing. The tower is empty and the only thing I can find is the portal to the Avengers tower on the roof. Even logged off/shut down about ten times. So freaking annoying.

I love how all the patch notes keep saying that they are extending the exp/rif/sif bonus has been extended. They should just say it's gonna be all month, which is what I think their plan is

if you cant' change difficulties (lower than 25), or have no other heroes to switch to (all of this resets the instance), then party up and leave. beg in social if you have to and tolerate the assholes that don't understand the situation (same thing happened to me in chapter...1 or 2, whatever--fight Doc Oc mission).

I think they are just tossing out some laurels, b/c they have sorta flubbed the Silver Surfer launch: basically announced his availability without getting final license approval from Marvel/Disney.

Gaz announced a schedule last week, basically saying it would have been live in game 3 days ago, and that has all been pushed back multiple times over the week (still has not arrived to test server, officially--though some have gained access for a brief time). Best estimate is now end of this coming week. Not horrible, but it's just a boneheaded thing: wait until your approval process is over, then just give a real fricking date. Surfer was a major surprise, scheduled to arrive at the end of this year; not "sometime this week" out of nowhere. It got the community excited to announce something like that--especially when you had no business announcing it.

What's happned with the cake slices. Had been slowly trudgin along with just a 50% boost, dropped another 100% on top of that and went to asgard and was getting almost nothing.

Assuming there is now way to expand you on character inventory size? So much drops that I've long since stopped picking up greens and have started leaving blues unless I'm about to head back for another trip to the hub.

was that a costume that you got from the Fortune card? As far as I know, you cant' get a hero from fortune cards. The Mark VI cards, I think, can give you the exclusive black Spidey Teamup, though, which is very nice.

Nope, can't expand character bag or any inventory slots. On top of that, your character bag is shared across the account--switch hero, you have the same bag. It sucks, but that's why inventory slots are a consistent money-maker for the game.

You do know about the "B" (bodyslide) key right? You can teleport back to a hub, sell/clear inventory space, and then teleport back.

Also if you buy a team-up, you gain additional space (ctrl+right-click) to move items between main inventory and the team-up.

yeah, and I didn't realize that for some weeks. Just thought that entire panel was an ad, was annoyed that I could never get rid of the ad, and forced to close it every time I open the inventory.

It wasn't until someone in general chat told me that the stash space is there without the teamup, that I actually looked below the ad and noticed that those were inventory spaces

I am guilty of the same. I added Spidey as my team-up early on, because he whores himself out to everyone.

I picked up Spidey yesterday--my first team up. I went with him because of the passive to dodge, which should help my NC tremendously. It is like night and day...

ugh....3 Hawkeyes for me from rando boxes--the last one from one of the more recent free box giveaways. FFS...it always has to be Hawkeye. I went through the torture of getting him to 50--his synergies are really nice--but also needed to get him to 52 so I clear those two ugly faces out of my storage Most painful 2 levels, ever. I haven't picked him up since hitting 52.

--yes Hawkeye does have great damage, his turret is certainly amazing...but he doesn't deserve that turret. I wish BW had that turret. DPS SHMI-PS. He's boring as all hell to play.

Knew about the body slide button. Hadn't usd it though as I thought it was on of those get out when stuck in the environment functions. If you can use it without c/d to head back toi base should make inventory easier.

I've been using the tamup bag, but only for items marked teamup. While I haven't tested it, thought that was the only type of stuff that could go in there.

Yea anything goes in teamup. I usually use it for buffs in case I want to pop a few when out an about.
