yea, everyone was speculating that the guy Jack had to chose between on the operating table ... his (now) wife or the guy in the car accident ... was shannon's dad because of the last name.

I'm really starting to lose interest in this thing. They keep bringing up new stuff and never really resolve anything. What happened to the mysterious "woman", the guy in the hatch that ran into the jungle, the pirates, blah blah blah. They just keep leaving lose ends. The whole show has turned into a collection of sub-stories and each week they set up a new one and give us a little tidbit of an old one to keep us plugged in. Enough with the new plot lines already, just stick to the program!

I mean there's a hatch with a generator, computer, modern convienences, etc. so lets not talk about that for a few months while everyone runs around the jungle avoiding a dozen or so "other" people. WTF?!?! EDIT - And what about the RADIO TRANSMISSION from the first season?

BTW - Not directly related but I learned a new phrase recently. "Jumped the shark." Google it. Pretty interesting.
